2 things; Make sure you account for the glass when trying to figure out which height works for you. Practice putting together and make sure your pieces are in order before hanging it. If you do that, you’ll be fine. This light is great and we love it. I just installed it today in my bathroom as a vanity light hanging from the ceiling. We also got a lot of compliments on it when I posted pictures. I used 40 watt equivalent Edison style LED’s (also from Home Depot).
