It is impossible to tell from the photos that this is not round in the 3rd dimension. You can see it is oval from top to bottom, but I couldn't tell that it is oval front to back also. It need something in the description that says that.

Gorgeous boho chic lamp

I've been looking for a capiz shell pendant light for a while now and when I found this I was so excited! I actually needed a plug-in pendant light since I am renting, but for the price I couldn't pass it up. I simply rewired it to make a pendant lamp and I love how it turned out! I have my windows open most of the time and when the wind blows they make such a beautiful, calming noise. The only thing that led to my knocking off one star was the fact that the capiz shells are incredibly fragile and a couple of them had little pieces broken off in their plastic wrapping. I wish they would've included some extra shells to replace any damaged ones during shipment. :( Overall, for the price I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I did not fully unpack before deciding to return this very small chandelier because there appeared to be way too much assembly involved. Also there was a bare gold exposed wire running along outside of the regular covered wire. I returned this fixrure.

Beautiful light that surprisingly throws off sufficient light. Looks great in my kitchen above the sink! It arrived securely packaged, clear directions and was super easy to install. I was worried if I ever broke one of the shells it would make the light unusable but it comes with extra shells for any clumsy accidents I may have.
