Large sconce
These lights were good for our transitional house. I wanted something large to take up space on large expanse of walls in the stairs. The 2 bulbs shine through the shades. they look better when they are off.
Nice Light (Albeit Flimsy Materials)
We've had this installed for a few months, and no issues. The lights look great however, they are a little flimsy in their material (very light). No issues on installation except that it is difficult to make all the metal parts flush against the wall (e.g., due to slight imprecisions in the metal).
Love, love, love it! Have received many compliments!
Better than I imagined
I purchased a pair of the black ones and they worked out beautifully, as I wanted something a bit on the modern side, but not over the top industrial, with a touch of black to balance out my family room. At first I was skeptical about fabric shades but they are really nice, not cheap-looking, and they remind me of a Dupioni silk. The shades will actually work out better than glass because glass might break. Oh, I also wanted sconces that emit light both upward and downward for my tall walls, and these worked out very well.
This sconce is lovely. It replaced a heavy dark design in my dressing area. The brushed gold is not too yellow and the 2, 60 watt bulbs give off a “just enough” light for the area.
Great quality for the price.

In a hallway, wall sconces should be spaced about 8-10 feet apart to ensure even lighting and avoid dark spots.
