Nice for the price

This sconce is well made enough for the price, but does not have the quality or “presence” I need for my project. I need sconces with a little more detail and interest to hold their own on pilasters in an Art Deco influenced theater room.

Elegant Look

Bought two of these sconces for the dining room. My electrician actually removed the sconces from the packaging and exclaimed more than once that these look really expensive (while they were really quite reasonably priced). Once the sconces were in place, I asked my husband what he thought. His response, "They really dress up the dining room." He is right about that.

Beautiful, bright sconces

The sconces are beautiful in our hallways. The finish is smooth and the color as described. They work well with the double sconces.

The Gold is just too yellow for the look I was going for. Was hoping for more of a warm brass. But it's a really pretty light fixture and looks high quality. Unfortunately I will need to return and find something else that matched our decor.

Quick to burn out

I used 2 of these lights for a commercial lobby project. We had problems with them burning out! I do not know if we just got defective lights but we ended up replacing them with different style of lights because these lights would burn out so quickly.

Perfect for sitting room fireplace

Spent quite some time looking for two wall sconces to replace dated ones. This was perfect--brushed gold for a classy rich look and modern looking yet somewhat retro (1920's era) to give a dressed up look to the room.

Beautiful

We installed built in bookcases that eliminated the space for a floor lamp, so I decided to put in sconces. I wanted somthing that used standard bulbs but would provide enough light to replace a lamp on that side of the room. The simple "pillar candle" style goes with any decor. The size was substantial enough to not get lost in the space and the polished nickel matched my other fixtures. They were simple to install and we added a dimmer switch. They are perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Gorgeous finish and design!

I absolutely love this fixture! I have 2 flanking a piece of original art, and they are stunning! Both arrived unblemished- no scratches nor dents, and I am so pleased with the finish. I was afraid they would be too "brassy," but the finish is a soft brushed gold and the white glass shades soften when turned on. I had to have on/off switches inserted, but they are only noticeable from the side view as they are centered behind the torch style handle.

We bought two for our stairwell to match with the two double light fixtures we just love of the same Margeaux collection. Easy to install. Casts a beautiful light without blinding. One of the glass shades was cracked, but was replaced immediately at no cost with no fuss by build.com

I ordered this light for a bathroom renovation. I was nervous because I bought them to match an existing Kichler chandelier that has been discontinued. I was super happy to get these sconces and the sconces are a perfect match. They are quite tall and a room with a high ceiling should beautifully pull them off. I'm happy with the clean lines and simplicity of these lights.
