Sink review

We have been disappointed with the ease in which the sink can be scratched. The pads on the metal rack that came with the sink left large scratches in the bottom of the sink. The lip has deep scratches as well. It is a great designed

Bottom is too flat

The sink looks nice but wasn't designed very well as the bottom is too flat. At first it wouldn't drain all of the water. Some spots would have puddles but after more use most of the water drains now. However, it's hard to get any debris like dirt or whatever to wash off the bottom in all spots.

Beautiful sink. I like depth especially as hides dirty dishes!

Disappointed with the accessories.

I love the size and depth of the sink but unhappy with the grate. I need to keep pulling it up to clean all the scraps under it. The scraps do not wash into the drain unless you pull up the grate and use a sponge or dishrag. Also, the colander is not useful, I prefer to use my mesh colander, the vegs or fruits will not get drained because some water stays in the colander. The cutting board is fine, but I need to clean it and put it in the drainer on the counter because it takes a lot of space if you're doing dishes.

Easily scratched

It scratches very easily. I think it's scratches if you look at it too hard. I'm not happy with the finish.

It's a "no" for me

I should have heeded the other reviewers' advice on this sink. We had it installed with our brand new countertops in February 2024, replacing a much less expensive stainless sink. I deeply regret that I didn't just keep my old sink!

Very large, beautiful sink

Beautiful sink, very large with good finish. Like the protective grates, too.

Great Sink

This sink has everything a home chef needs! The cutting board doesn't fit in the track.

Just okay

Stainless steel bottom grid always has to be removed to clean sink properly. Also would like to order additional cutting board but accessories can't be ordered separately.

Love the sink, but arrived with some scratches

We love the sink, but we were disappointed that there were already some scratches on the bottom of the sink when we received it. We understand that stainless steel can scratch very easily, so we have been extra careful. We used the two metal grids that came with the sink, but the hard plastic tips on the grid feet left scratch marks where they rested on the bottom of the sink. We purchased some soft rubber 'feet' to put over the plastic tips so that should solve the problem. Please consider putting softer material on the grid feet, so that they will not mark up the sink. Otherwise, we love the sink!

karran sink quality for under mounted sink

I had a stainless steel sink in my kitchen from 2003 until now 2023 and the quality of this new karran stainless steel is much thinner than the one that came with my new home in 2003.

Nice sink

The sink is super deep, looks high end, we like that it’s the same size on each side. The coating on the bottom seems to make it quieter. Easy to install.

Nice but high maintenance

The sink quality is great, it looks great, however, the amount of upkeep required is a real negative. I've never heard of a stainless sink not being able to be, well, wet. That defeats the purpose of a "stainless" sink. We use our sink constantly, so having to wipe it dry after each use to avoid rust and stains is something I wish I'd known before purchasing.

Great Sink

We love this sink! We replaced a divided sink with this 33 in stainless sink and what a difference! Much more room to work and really like the rack in the bottom of the sink. We found a company that can take out your old undermount sink without destroying the granite and replacing it with this Karran 33 in sink underneath your granite. Even though it says top mount, it is installed just like an undermount. Easy to clean as well. Highly recommend.

Eye catching sink

Our new sink is very good looking and is much more usable due to it being slightly deeper. Finish is amazing.

GORGEOUS but Needs more pitch

LOVE IT!! I love that it came with the bottom grids that fit perfectly! It could use a bit more of a pitch toward the drain, it's sometimes hard to get everything to go that direction

Gorgeous sink mounted underneath

We really enjoy our new sink! Our installer mounted from underneath and so we like the nice clean look. We changed from a double bowl 60/40 sink and the single bowl is much easier to use and definitely more spacious.

Fantastic sink. Accessories ok.

I love this sink. Nice and deep with rounded corners with some sloping to assist with drainage. Yes, it takes a bit to get all the stuff out of the bottom but it did with my two bowl sink that this sink replaced. Not a big deal. Love the drying rack and cutting board and the concept of the two colanders however, the functionality of the colanders has much to be desired. There is a lot of surface area that doesn't drain due to the design. Would love if the deep colander had holes versus the slits for drainage. The colander issue is what prevents this from a 5 star rating. Faucet is nice and sturdy but wish it had an "off" position between the stream and spray options but that's a very minor complaint.Also, customer service was top notch when I needed a missing part. Overall, a solid value for the money.
