I have never had an ice cream maker before and let me tell you it is awesome. This ice cream maker is so easy to use. It also is made of great material and is very sturdy. It come with the barrel, the motor, the ice cream spatula, a lid for storing. It also comes with a whole recipe book and different types of ice cream. I absolutely love this ice cream maker. The ice cream it makes is so delicious. It taste better than the store bought ice cream. It is also super easy to clean when you are done. I thought because it is bigger it would be hard but it is not. I love this product so much!!!

[Rewarded Review] Delicious!

My husband has wanted one of these things forever, and we finally have one! It’s large and looks nice and old-timey. Everything is electric so there’s no hard work involved despite the vintage look. I actually want to leave it out, but counter space is limited, so we will have to store it when not in use. The recipe book was handy, and the ice cream was rich. Keep in mind that it does come out more like a soft serve, although it’ll harden up a bit after some time in the freezer. Love, love, love that you can store it right in the canister too. If you’re in the market for an ice cream maker, this is the way to go.

Overall this is super easy to use. I was excited to try this out since it looked similar to the ice cream maker my parents had when I was a kid. It can make a lot of ice cream all at once. This gets the ice cream to a soft serve like consistency, so you do have to put it in the freezer for a few hours if you want a more frozen and firm ice cream that stays in a scoop shape.

I always wanted to use one ice maker, this one is super easy to assemble, very easy to use if we follow the instructions, it doesn’t need lots of ingredients to make a delicious and soft ice cream, just like a old fashioned ice cream maker. We will have homemade ice cream for the whole year or rest of our lives.

[Rewarded Review] Fun and Tasty!!!

This is the greatest little machine! It worked great with some practice. The capacity was perfect for my family of 4. We even had some left over to put in the freezer. It cleans up well and will be a great asset to our household this summer. We found a recipe for a Wendy’s-like frosty, and this worked perfectly for that application.

This is an amazing ice cream maker. I easily followed the recipe from the instruction/recipe book it came with and make delicious homemade ice cream in 50 minutes! 5 minutes was just measuring out the ingredients. Super quick and ready to go in 45! The texture of the ice cream was smooth and creamy. I used homemade vanilla I made back in December and it perfect for the vanilla cream. Cleaning was a breeze. The only negative is it's A bit large to store where I keep my crockpot so it'll have to go out in the garage when not I. Sue. Very excited to try other flavors!

packaging is not appealing

The machine can in a plane brown box with no image of the item. This gift is for my 8 year old niece and I am going to have to print something out to show her exactly what it is. For $98 I would expect the packaging to be much better

[Rewarded Review] A homemade ice DREAM!

I've always wanted to make homemade ice cream but thought it would be too difficult to do then I saw this product and had to try it. I took it out of the box in separate parts. There is a outer metal bucket, plastic liner, blending spatula, freezing canister and the motor. This is easily assembled following the directions. Once it was put together I liked the look of it. It has a retro look to it and the light teal color adds a nice touch. There is also a recipe book that has delicious recipes for ice cream, sorbets, frozen yogurts and gelatos. Now after assembly it was time to make ice cream! Starting out I put the metal canister in the freezer for 3 hours while mixing the ingredients in a separate bowl to put in the fridge for 45 minutes. Once the canister was done I simply took the mixed ingredients and put them in the canister which I then put in the tub and surrounded it with ice. I then put the mixing spatula in and then put the motor on top. I plugged it in and it started mixing. It's that simple! 45 minutes later it was done. This was so easy to operate and you're not having to put any real effort into it. You just need time as majority of it is simply waiting. The clean up was quick and easy. Me and the kids had a great night enjoying our cookie dough ice cream. I'm making frozen yogurt next!

[Rewarded Review] My kids love it!

I've tried out a few out of the many ice cream recipes which I found included in the instructions handbook. The first time I used this ice cream maker I was able to make some of the best tasting home-made vanilla ice cream I've had to date. I brought this with me to a family get together at my in-laws and it was a huge party favorite. It's easy to use, just prepare the ingredients for the ice cream, add the ice and rock salt, plug in and let the machine do the rest. Every once in awhile I would need to add a little more ice and rock salt. I also was really impressed by how easy clean up was. This is the first ice cream maker I have used and I'd recommend it. I plan on using this for family barbecues this summer and my kids are always asking for more!

I absolutely love my ice cream maker. The bucket needs to be filled with crushed ice and rocksalt and then you can use any one of the 27 recipes included in the handbook or any others recipes you might have. The ice cream machine is very easy to clean up and to use. I found the recipes that they provided super simple to make. My family absolutely loves trying the new recipes and our goal is to make each one at least once. My favorite one though includes peanut butter with yogurt! I have shared our homemade ice cream we made with my family and friends at a get together recently and they were all amazed at how wonderful the ice cream tasted and wanted to know where to get their own machine! [Rewarded Review] Fantastic Ice Cream Maker!

My son loves ice cream, so I knew this would be a great hit in our house. This is the first ice cream maker we have owned, so the first round was a little trial and error.. It comes with step by step instructions, and some different recipes for ice cream, sorbets, frozen yogurt, and gelatos. The ice cream maker was easy to use, and it works great. Our first round, I didn't have enough ingredients, so i just halfed it. Within an hour, we were eating some delicious French Vanilla Ice Cream. Clean up was quick, and easy. I love making our own, because we know exactly what ingredients are used. This will be used in our house for years to come!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this ice cream maker. One of the things I miss about being plant based is ice cream. There are a variety of companies that offer dairy free ice cream, but I usually not willing to dish out a lot of money for them. Well now, I don’t have to! Not only is this easy to use, its quick to churn out a delicious treat for myself. I love that I can incorporate fruit into my frozen delights.

We were really excited to try the Elite Gourmet 4QT old fashioned ice cream maker! I knew it would take a long time to do, but yikes! Make sure you have a few hours. The machine worked well enough, I personally felt like it was made poorly and made of cheap plastic. It is fun to use at least once for the experience. If you have a good chunk of time to do it, then you will love it! Lots of prep involved, and don’t forget to buy the ice cream rock salt! You need to get that and the ingredients before using the ice cream maker. Also, make ice beforehand. I would maybe recommend to certain people! Thanks.

[Rewarded Review] Brings back childhood memories

This ice cream maker is so much fun! The one I had as a child was hand crank so it being electric is a added bonus! The first treat I made in it was for girls night in. Ironically it wasn't ice cream, we made sorbet! It turned out so good and only took about 45 minutes from start to finish. We put the ingredients in before dinner and by the time we were ready for dessert this was done. I cannot wait to make ice cream in this for the kids once the summer hits. We will be using this for years to come. I love the idea of home made treats since you know what exactly is going into it.

The machine is pretty straightforward and easy to use. You can cut the recipes in half as well. We split our full batch and made 2 different kinds of ice cream. You can also make sorbet, gelato and frozen yogurt. The one thing I do not like is the that the only way to turn it on and off is to plug it in or unplug it. I wish it had an on and off switch. You can tell when the ice cream is ready because the motor starts to work harder because it’s getting thicker. It’s nice because you can store the ice cream in the cylinder you make it in. Super easy to clean as well.
