[Rewarded Review] Trouble

I bought one a week ago and the urn worked good percolating the coffee. But when it went to warm the urn made a loud bubbling sound as if it was still cooking. It stayed so hot that after adding cream and a cube of ice it still burned our lips. the temp of the pot after 10 minutes stayed at 180/185 degrees. I called to explain this and was told that it should stay about 155/160 degrees. After trying another batch it repeated problem. Called again to want pot replaced and was told that first person was wrong about hold temp, should be 180 degrees.. I said I'm returning it because we're not burning our lips any more or adding so much ice to weaken the coffee. Took it back to office depot and only got back $40 of original $52 and had to pay $25 more to get a replacement pot. Waiting for new pot to see if that one works and will update this review then. William

Leaky Mess!

While this pot makes good coffee, steam, mixed with coffee, leaks from the bottom sometimes.

Perfect size for parties

It is okay

Unit warms well, but there is no thermostatic control. The heating element is a continuous and gets very hot. I must turn off occasionally during use to avoid heat.

not happy

did not last long. only a couple of months , then quit pumping water. have a hamilton beach for over 2 years, still runs great.
