51300C replacement filter

These were in factory packaging. This model was about 2 inches taller than the previous 51300C I had purchased and larger circumference, about 1/4 of an inch. That said, it fit perfectly but measure for clearance before purchasing.

Great Filter.

Great filter avoid knock off that do not have the radio frequency chip under the white dot or red label. Also, the video is wrong and should be remove counter clockwise and install clockwise. Also knockoffs will deteriorate fast and clog your system.

Water Filter is a game changer

The most popular location in the Medical Facility is the Water Cooler. Why, it appears to be the desire for the filtered water to fill the various bottles the staff and visitors have. The reason is the taste. We are in a hard water area and the filter is a game changer. Coffee & tea pots last longer, the water taste better all due to the filter. It is easy to install so we are never really off line for very long.

Product did not have the correct code to clear the Elkay "red light" to show new filter installed. I call ed the Elkay maunfacturer and they said I bought a "pirated" product.

BAD FILTERS PUTS FILM ON WATER

After replacing our filter. Someone got a bottle and filled it. There was an oil on the water. Used a New Cup and filled it. Hadf the same film on top of the water. Took new filter out and put old filter back in. No More Film.

Product performs as expected. OEM replacement filter works as it should. Beware of knockoff filters, as they don’t have the sensor to automatically reset the filter status on your water fountain. This filter was competitively priced.

I actually needed the 51300C-prod which is very difficult to find. It is the shorter version of the 51300C. The regular 51300C is over 12 inches long and is to big to fit into some models. the "prod" version is around 9 inches.

My water fountain was having trouble with creating enough pressure for the stream to be easily ingested. Well, I called Elkay and they suggested I get a new filter. I'm so embarrassed that I didn't do it sooner. Once I changed it out - which took about 3 minutes when you include taking off the panel and re-attaching it - the difference was immediate and obvious.
