Empire logs

I like the logs but the fire could be larger, but they fit my fire place,

Not much heat radiating from unit

Nice log set easy to assemble but really doesn’t provide much radiant heat. Our old log set worked much better it was just in need of replacement. Good for ambiance but not impressed with heat output.

Empire Flint Hill Ventless

We love our new ventless log set! Our puppy is enjoying it, too. It is such a clean, easy alternative to a real wood fire and still looks authentic. The embers really do give it that genuine look!

Empire Flint Hill 24-in

We are very pleased with our new gas fireplace ventless. It looks very real and was pretty easy to install. The existing gas line needed to be replaced since it was damaged. All in all we are very pleased. One note is the unit came with two different wiring diagrams. I wired my remote thermostat according to the manual. I should have wired it according to the metal tag that came with the burner. I didn't realize the metal tag had a schematic attached to it. However, both worked but I recommend following the middle tag schematic.

I like my new gas stove and log set

I like it. The stove works great and event gets too hot sometimes. I paid an extra $300+ for the remote control but cannot understand how to install it. I could pay $100 to someone to come over and install that but the stove works just fine without it.

I would give you a true rating if not for the point of sale that you employ.

Very Handsome Gas Log

Easy installation and works perfectly. The flame looks more realistic on the lower settings, which is great as a fuel-saving measure.

Excellent customer service

I was never able to use the product because of an error on my part in communicating with a contractor, so I had to return it without even removing it from its box. I hope to order it again when the work is finished in a few months. I can attest, however, to the incredible customer service of Woodland. Both the ordering and returning processes were absolutely seamless. The individual with whom I spoke on the phone about the return was one of the most helpful customer service folks I've ever encountered. If the product - once I'm able to order it again - is anything like the company's service culture, I have no doubt it will be spectacular.

The product is perfect and beautiful, but the BEST part of using this company is their customer service. I had the pleasure to talk to Will in Customer Service and he was just wonderful.

more height than width

The logs stack much higher than sales pictures shows, it does not come with the gravel to go around the base as shown in the picture

Gas logs

I'm pleased with my log set. The only problem was the 2 men who came from the gas company to install could not get the remote to work. I had to wait for approximately 2 weeks (due to holiday) to get an appointment for their "specialist" to come out. It actually only took him about 20 min. to get the remote going.

Great unit

In weeks of searching online, I only found 2 units that would fit my fireplace dimensions. I'm really thankful I selected this one. It has a great looking log/flame pattern, puts out a lot of heat and was half the cost of the other one. We get rave compliments from visitors all the time.

I found the directions for setting up the remote control very confusing. I still don't have it working. Will probably have to contact Empire to resolve this issue. N
