Exactly as you would expect from Alessi, and the wooden handle is lovely.

Useful practical design classic

This opener combined practicality and style. Easy to use, it isn't fiddly, unlike some openers. With its sunshine orange it's easy to find in a drawer, or even better to have on display. It's a nice size, and would make a great present, it's unique usable and special.

Another quirky item from Alessi

This is a really unusual bottle opener - the wood handle is really tactile and as you look at the metal top it looks like a person strong-arming the bottle cap. It looks solid, but is actually much lighter than it looks but it is long. It's also very different to the rest of the Alessi cocktail bar range and that makes it stand out a bit on the bar. Bottom line, it's a very expensive bottle opener, but if you do 'quirky' this can be a nice conversational piece on your home bar.

Fabulous Gift for a wood lover

I bought this item as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He is a wood lover and very difficult to buy for. He truly loved this gift, amazing design, beautiful pear wood and practical too!
