Excellent purchase experience with Ferguson in San Diego.

I purchased a Grohe kitchen faucet from Ferguson in San Diego. They are knowledgable, helpful and most efficient. The entire purchase did not take more than 15 minutes. Package arrived promptly and very well protected within a larger box surrounded by bubble wrap.

Quality faucet but issues make it a poor choice

The faucet works well, it is a quality product. I find the faucet too low, too close to the counter. The spray is concentrated and vigorous. If you use the spray for rinsing you will need to wipe down the surrounding counter and backsplash when done. My prior faucet used a spring for the pull out (grohe ladylux pull out not pull down). It was wonderful. This faucet uses a counterweight. If the pipes for water, drain, dishwasher are all in the same small area the counterweight will be clunking around (with some resistance) when you try to pull out the faucet. You will learn to refrain from using the pull out. No one tells you these things, even at the large showrooms. I guess I should have hired a consultant to know what faucet to buy.

It is one of the few low profile kitchen faucets that actually looks good. I wish I had paid attention to the 1.75Gpm flow rate, as the wide spray is useless when it comes to cleaning.I'll be buying a replacement that actually functions effectively.

Love, love, love this faucet!! The spray is very powerful. It reverses to stream when shut off so you don't get an unexpected splash when you turn the water on. Also, the stream is silent. That is so nice.

Small, simple, and smooth

I needed a short faucet due to a wooden shutter over my sink and finally found it with this faucet. The sprayer pulls out very smoothly and the switch to make it spray is simple and easy. The water pressure/flow is good. The only thing lacking is that they didn't send me a tracking number, so I had to call to find the status.

Low profile kitchen faucet replacement

This worked out as a terrific replacement for a faucet we loved, but was 35 years old

Nice looking faucet, low water volume

The faucet looks nice, it is easy to install, and doesn't leak. A great improvement from what I had. The only thing I do not like is, there is no aerator, and the volume of water seems to be less than my 20-year-old fixture I had before. I assume the reduced water volume has something to do with environmental laws and water conservation.

NICE CHOICE !

This faucet is replacing an old and worn out one, and I must say it’s much easier to use than the previous one! I would have liked the choice of finish rather than the shiny new one, but I’ll get used to it!

Spray/Stream Control Consistantly Fails!

I give this faucet less than 1* for reliable function. Others have correctly said that the spray/stream function fails within 6-12 months. I've had the 3rd pull-out hand wand replaced so far. The problem? There is a 'diverter' soft O-ring inside that consistently fails. Cannot just buy the rubber replacement though, have to get a whole new pull-out hand wand. They've been good in doing so at no cost BUT come on people, you know the problem so either fix the faulty mechanism design outright or give us the option to get the simple rubber soft O-ring diverter. The internal mechanisms can be removed and accessed, watching the YouTube video of a similar Grohe pull-out hand wand shows how.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFX9jkPNHhMBetter yet, Grohe produces its own video showing how to remove the internal spray/stream mechanism and replace the soft diverter O-ring. Less

Nice looking and low profile faucet as it does not stick up very high above the counter which is nice. The only thing that i am less than pleased about is the swivel base turns on the actual counter surface and uses an O ring to prevent any leaks. I suspect over time this is going to wear more quickly vs having a smooth spacer or flange that the bottom of the faucet turns on.

Plastic screws

It's great other than the large plastic screws provided in the packaging. Metal is much better. Having plastic means that you can't screw them on as tightly as metal since they might break. As a result, the faucet is a little loose at the base. My plumber informed me every company is doing plastic screws now instead of metal :-( This is really annoying.

It was not the quality I expect from Grohe. The removable sprayer portion, which was approximately half of the spout, was all plastic!

Nice product.

A quality product. But, I was disappointed to see that this was shipped in a previously opened factory box that was poorly repacked and taped together. I ordered a new product. Fortunately all of the pieces and parts were found in the box. Both the plumber who installed it and I were pleasantly surprised to find that all of the parts were in the box. They were loose.

This is a really fabulous faucet! Clean lines, looks beautiful in my kitchen. It does not splatter all over the place. A nice spray pattern with a low profile, which is exactly what I was looking for 4 years ago when I settled for something I didn't want.

I love this faucet! Smooth easy to use. Good stream of water. Love the pullout choice of streams. They do have installation of the faucet through Angi for an extra fee. Be aware if they have to remove your old faucet, it will cost an extra $211.

Does not have a large range of motion

I bought this because my old Grohe faucet had developed a catastrophic leak. The plumber said that he could not repair the faucet. Needed a new one. So now the new one is installed. It is almost identical to the old one. It does not have as high a rate of flow as the old one. Maybe that is in response to some updated building code that tries to limit water use. The new one will only rotate through about 90 degrees. The old one rotated through 180 degrees. So I can't cover as large an area of the sink with the new one. I like the hew pull-out hose better than the old one. The old one had a heavy spiral metal structure. It tended to catch on the sides of the faucet when I tried to push it back into the faucet. The new one has a braided almost cloth-like structure that does not get caught up. Also, the new hose is lighter. Less
