I do not normally write reviews. I have bought futon mattresses in the past for several family members from DHP however unlike the last 2 futon mattresses that I purchased this is not a 8 inch mattress. This is like a topper futon mattress for another thicker futon mattress underneath. I bought the protection plan which I have no idea how it works. I also am not able to return this item as I have no means of transportation to send it back especially since this item didn't come in a box and only in a bag that I had to cut to get the mattress out.

First problem is that this mattress is supposed to be 8" thick, but it's only 6". I waited 2 days hoping it would expand, but it's still only 6".
