Comfy rest

I am so happy I decided to buy this item, even though I had already told the salesperson at the store I will wait and still look around. I ended up buying it and realized this was a great decision. It is comfy, firm just the way I like it, and just the right size for me.

Perfect Refresh

We had an ancient futon chair with mattress that was totally compressed- Futonland was the only place we could find the right size, customer service gave great advice on what thickness would work and it’s like we have a brand new chair!

Overall Great !

Overall this is a great futon mattress. I do wish the two foam cores were a bit firmer. But that is my personal preference. I wonder whether solid cotton/wool without the foam would be a better choice for those wanting a firm mattress. I suppose without the foam though the mattress might tend to lose its shape. Gold Bond is a great company it seems. Also, the mattress has NO chemical odor, which is very important.

Mattress very firm!

I slept on it one night and just could not get comfortable. It’s like sleeping on plywood. Not sure what I can do to make it more plush…

Great futon!

Good! The futon came in the time frame I was told, it did not have a smell, and was easy to set up! It is a bit firm, but I imagine with some usage over time it will get broken into more.

Gold Bond futon lounger

I am so impressed with the quality of both the lounger frame and the futon. The lounger makes a great little loveseat as well as a great bed.I waited a long time for this futon but we all know what that is about.Thank you.

Great option for a great price.

The price was great. The shipping time was reasonable. The item came well wrapped and ready to go, once unwrapped. The material is heavy duty, made from bonded-leather, not to be confused with full-grain cowhide leather. It is nice and firm. We got the Full size, to replace the same size cushion on our futon. The tufting is nice to main consistent distribution of the cover to the layered foam cushion. Would have been ideal if the tufting was finished with leather buttons. We wound up installing those ourselves. All in all, we are happy with our purchase, well worth the price.

Excellent Service

Excellent service. Store called me up because they suspected the product I had chosen would not work and suggested a more appropriate solution. I was informed every inch of the way about delivery and the guys that delivered the futon were on time, efficient (constructed a bed in 6 mins!!!), and pleasant to deal with.

Like sleeping on clouds

I have been sleeping on Gold Bond futons for more than 25 years. This double foam futon is a dream, not only for sleeping, but also to move as one needs to do with futons. The quality is superior. It fluffed in two days and there was no discernable odor at all.

A Solid Sturdy Mattress

My new mattress has made a world of difference to my level of comfort. Because it is firm, I can now sit on it without my back aching. That alone makes it worth every penny I paid for it. Initially, I thought it was too thick. It turned out to be just right.
