Nice size and good handle but has a definite design flaw - food gets trapped in the inside of the metal top rim and make washing mire difficult than just a good rinse. Especially for washing rice or other grains.

I had some concern on whether this product was the same as a similarly labeled "Excelsteel" (one word, not two) that sold for twice as much. This product fits nicely inside my InstaPot 6qt without issue, which is my main use of the strainer and happy with the product overall.

Great for straining small items, rinsing beans, etc. I did need to buy a smaller strainer for quinoa though. Annoying to wash but I find that with any fine-mesh strainers.

This is COOL: a much larger than usual strainer that can serve as a steamer, a sieve in the sink and even the special use I bought it for: Straining out the organic matter in the “Compost Tea” I’ll be making this summer in a large container. Glad to have found this!
