Stay away from the BLUE KNOB

I have just received a 12-cup stovetop model with a broken blue knob for the lid. Trying for 2 days now to find a replacement has been nothing less than total frustration. The suggested points of contacts and phone numbers given by Farberware are totally useless, and the detailed product info that has been requested by Farberware"s "recommended points of contacts" is non-existent at best. It is also impossible to reach ANYONE at the so-called Customer Service phone number. This has been a major disappointment to say the least

I just bought this a few months ago and the black round piece that holds the percolator in place has cracked!

Love the smell and taste

Love the smell and taste of fresh brewed coffee! This pot is perfect, just the right size. We had a smaller one, but just never seem make to have coffee for a second cup. Saw this coffee pot would make up to 12 cups. Always been a Farberware customer, will continue to be!

The seal on the bottom of the spout leaks when you pour. So you have to pour the fresh made coffee over the sink, so you won't get it everywhere, but the coffee it makes is great.

I love this 12 cup Faberware coffee pot. I use a coffee filter. It makes a perfect cup of coffee exactly how you want it. There's nothing like the smell of fresh brewed coffee. I recommend this product

Great Product Butttt

Retired and on a fixed income so no longer buying coffee on the road every day and looked into brewing at least an 8 cup of coffee to last the day and found the 12 cup offered was the best on both price and features wise for me. Only thing I read on line at the Amazon site to be concerned about was the glass cap that breaks easily if not handled properly. On receipt of my order I could see why…the screw on feature between glass and Stainless steel leaves a lot to be desired. Found it loosened easily from both cleaning and removing and would leak so always checked to make sure it was tight but not overtightened for fear of breaking. After three months though it finally did break , in several small pieces which was a problem in itself. So I’ll be ordering one for overnight delivery right now. Otherwise I’d give it no less then a 4-1/2 star rating.

Great coffee pot!

Have used a Farberware Electric Percolator for years. My husband doesn't like drip pots because he says the coffee isn't hot enough, and they shut off in 2 hours. That is not a problem with this Farberware pot. We have it plugged in from sun up to sun down. Fast, too. Brews 12 cups in 12 minutes. Only negative with this pot---it continues to make a funny sound after the brewing is done. Never had that before. Hope it's not a sign that something is wrong with it.
