FIRE HAZARD-DO NOT BUY
I purchased this filter in replace of the micro filter, and was excited that it filters more debris. I thought it looked rather dense on both sides, but installed it anyways. Within an hour of running my a/c, there was a strong burning rubber smell coming from the registers/vents. A technician inspected the unit and noted that the filter was, in fact, too dense to suck the air through properly, which made the a/c unit have to work harder. He said that if it had run any longer it could have been a fire hazard. I replaced it with another micro filter (same brand) and it is back to running normally with no burning rubber smell. DO NOT BUY!
