Solid Apron Bathtub.

I am very happy with this purchase. The tub is nice looking, deep and spacious, and the shower and tub combo give an overall modern look. This is the first time I have bought the Fine Fixtring tub, and it turns out to be way sturdier than the American Standard I replaced in my existing bathroom.

horrible finish

horrible finish. rejected first one shipped to job; rejected second one at store. finish on apron was thin and glass fibers were raised above finish. crew at HD just shook their heads at seeing shoddy work. no reason to buy this product. what defects lurk beneath the surface. tried twice, a waste of time and delayed the job. definitely not fine fixtures

Appeared to be a nice tub with great finish. Was surprised to see such an oversized item at my doorstep in less than 48hrs. Unfortunately, I had to return because I purchased I purchased an incorrect size.

As other reviews warned about, this tub arrives damaged. The QC on this tub must be zero. When we unboxed the tub, there were significant manufacturer's defects. A large splatch of grey epoxy from the fiberglass matrix was smeared on the front outside of the tub, clearly visible. There were also numerous scratches on the top and around the sides. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

Excellent extended length bathtub

On first inspection it looks great. Installed easily but not yet used since the bathroom is waiting for tiling. This tub offers good value in the higher end market.

Looked great until...

This tub comes with a film on it that says, "Do not remove film until after installation". When my contractor removed the film, two significant manufacturer's defects were clearly showing. Grey splotches that stick out like sore thumbs amidst the glossy white tub. Now I have to spend $45 on tub paint to cover them up. It's a shame because the tub looks great otherwise. It makes me wonder why the film was covering the tub to begin with. It just seems really sketchy to me.

Expensive, delayed, defective

I purchased this odd-sized tub to fit a custom bathroom. It arrived defective - grey epoxy from the fiberglass matrix was smeared on the inside of the tub. It could not be removed. The apron of the tub was also sprayed with grey epoxy and stray fibers were adhered under the acrylic overcoat. This ruined the look and feel of the tub. This is a shocking breach of quality control for such an expensive tub. This tub also arrived 8 days late. All around poor experience. I would recommend you avoid.

Love our new tub

I bought this tub with very few reviews and an happy with my purchase overall. The tub is very tall so beware if stepping over a tall ledge isn't feasible for you. I did take off one star because to the bottom of the tub (the part you'd stand on when showering) is lifted off the ground due to the design of the tub and when standing/walking on it it does feel a little flimsy and have a little bit of give. I am not used to this due to all tub bottoms I've ever used being flush with the ground.

Great kids' tub for our guest bath

This is an awesome tub! It turned out perfect in our guest bath. I would recommend it, it's the perfect height for the scale of our bathroom!

Modern looking but very tall!

This is a beautiful tub. Feels very modern because of the squared of shape. My only only issue is how tall it is. It will work great as a soaking tub but tricky as your only shower.
