I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. I bought this chair a couple of months into COVID and sit in it almost everyday. It's sturdy, I like that it swivels, and the arms offer the right support. I have never been able to raise or lower the chair but it could be a malfunction from my assembly of the chair. Aesthetically, it's standard, nothing fancy, but definitely serves its purpose. Would recommend.

As I type this review, I am sitting in the chair I am reviewing. When I first ordered this chair and put it together, the plate, screw and hole did not line up. I took it apart to store it while awaiting a move into our new build home. When I put the chair back together, in our new build home, all parts went together without issues. Yet, while using the chair for 30 days, 2x the chair made a loud pop sound and a screw and bolt used to assemble the chair had sprung loose and now lays on the floor. Bottom line, I'm making it work, yet, clearly, it is not providing carefree performance. I sit nervously on the chair wondering if another bolt will be spit out without notice and I will tumble to the ground.

I initially gave this chair 5 stars because it shipped fast, seemed robust, was easy to assemble and comfortable. I remotely work and use this chair for 9-10 hours a day. After a couple weeks, screws starting falling out under the seat cushion and the plastic piece on the base would fall apart, but these were easy to fix. However, after 6 months, the plastic frame for the seat back snapped due to a 4.5 inch long crack near where the seat back connects to the metal tubes. This is likely due to leaning back in the chair at times. That was a major failure.

A bit to tall

I love this chair. I wish it would have been able to adjust a few inches shorter. I am unable to use it due to it not going low enough.

This chair was recommended to me by best friend because of its durability. I just completed putting this chair together and it was quite seamless. It took me about 20 mins to do so. I love the color and it seems sturdy. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the packaging was poor and it resulted in a small piece coming broken. I moved in my new home however and have been working from a camping chair the last two weeks so exchanging it and going through the waiting process seemed more painful than just fixing it myself. But the chair is beautiful and I can’t wait to use it.

I have been using this chair for several months now, working at home full time. While it was an upgrade from sitting on the sofa, I wish I had done more research and invested in a better office chair. Just did not think I would be working from home for this long.

Was a bit disappointed in two ways: 1) Most office chairs I'd ever bought and put together are simple, it is generally two pieces. Not in this case. I had to put the arms, the chair adjuster devise and the back together with bolts. Not a big deal but when you have other furniture to put together, it all adds up. I also had to put the wheels. 2) The chair is good looking but the looks are skin deep. Its padding in the seat is poor. You feel the bolts and the base of the seat. Not good long term -- esp for a chair you spend eight hours a day in. I'd say invest in a good seat cushion if this is a full time office seat.

Chair ok, needs a bit more support

Very nice to look at. The height is good. It rolls nicely. I expected more cushioning in the seat- it’s a little hard to sit on. I find also, that I’m still sitting with a pillow behind my back. (I guess I have to buy a much more expensive chair for that but I was reluctant to do so by catalogue, especially if my work-at-home time would only be short-term).

We are very pleased with our new chair. It runs slightly high in height adjustment (meaning the lowest position just fits our 5'5" ish bodies. The gray mesh is a lovely understated color, the materials seem good quality, the seating is firm but comfortable. We do want to caution prospective buyers that the instructions have inadvertent visual misinformation: (see photo) the bolt sizes -- 20mm and 30mm -- do not reflect the drawing bolt lengths. Be careful you don't choose the wrong bolt size for the back of the chair! Also note that the polypropylene upholstery is highly oleophilic - it easily absorbs sweat and body oil which will then attract dirt. Recommend you do not sit in seat with exposed skin.

Update after two months of use The chair keeps falling apart, the screws keep coming undone and the wheels keep getting jammed on nothing. Not sure if I got a faulty chair, but I would definitely not recommend this product, not worth spending 200 on something that will only last a couple of months.

*After a couple weeks of use this chair has become obnoxiously squeaky and loud. It is not comfortable to sit on and you it is hard to focus on work when the chair is so noisy! Conference calls are horrible as you have to try to sit without moving to avoid noises from the chair! Do not buy if it is your primary office chair!

This chair is not worth its price. I couldnt find any confortable, reasonably priced chair at the local stores I visited, but because if the times, I decided to stop looking in person and go online. Most of the reviews were positive or fair for this one, so I decided to go for it. It arrived quickly, and it wasnt difficult to assemble but, the seat isnt comfortable, it has a thin cushion. The lowest height setting isnt low enough for someone under 54 - feet dont touch the floor. I found a very comfortable, better quality chair a couple of weeks later for 73 of the price I paid for this chair. I cant really recommend this chair.
