Leaks leaks leaks

I bought 2 of these last year each lasted about 2 months of daily use. Self inflated sleeping pads are a good concept I have had more costly ones that lasted for years this is a case of penny wise pound foolish.

Great inflatable mattress for kids or young adults

Comfortable for my 9 year old twin! Fits 2 mattresses in a small tent

[Rewarded Review]

Doesn't inflate as much as I expected, but still seems to be useable and comfortable enough.

Super comfortable

I've had this self-inflatable mattress for several years and it is better than expected. I was iffy at first because I'm a side sleeper but then I realized you can blow it up further with your mouth giving it more air making it more comfortable. I have two herniated disk and I still wake up fine after sleeping on this mattress being on the bare ground.

Does not inflate.

It will not inflate! I have unscrewed the valve as it says (there are no instructions) and it supposed to self inflate in one minute, but nothing happens. I am going to return this!

AMAZING

I bought this 2 years ago and will be buying at least 2 more. I am disabled and it was almost impossible for me to enjoy camping with my family. I bought a cot and that helped a bit since I wasn’t having to get up off the ground. Add this mattress and I LOVE camping with my family again!!!!

Angry at great reviews posted.

Does not self inflate very well, had to blow more than I should. After 2 nights my back was hurting so badly I had to leave the camping site to buy something else which was more comfortable. I used the mat to help line the ground in the food tent. Returning today for a refund.

This works!

For years I've been looking for something to replace bulky, awkward air mattresses which slip off camping cots, require a pump, are too bouncy, deflate while sleeping and never seem quite right for comfort, The Stansport self inflating mattress fully meets that challenge. Well made and well conceived.

2-3" self-inflating mats are the best

I purchased 8+ different camping mat/pads to test in my living room long before a camping trip. They ranged from self-inflating to closed cell to yoga style foam. The self-inflating are by far the most comfortable. 1" thickness would be the minimum I'd recommend (they are readily available in Walmart/Dicks for last min purchases). 2" is my favorite so far. They also make 3" but I've yet to test them. I tested 4” years ago but it was more like an extra hard/ ultra-thin air mattress so I returned. Seems like 2-3" self-inflating is the sweet spot.

Sleep pad

Great value for the price. Had a great sleep on this mat, and I'm not a hardened camper.

My review is limited

I purchased this item as a gift for my grandson. The next time I go out of state to see him I'll know how he liked it.

Camping mat

This mat is easy to use, to inflate, and to roll up. It is not as thick as I hoped but it does add some padding and comfort. Very portable.

beware - ain't no brass valve

ok, so probably ought to really give it 3 or 4 stars, but wanted to highlight the blatant miss-guided information on the website - says it is 498 with brass valve, but surely is plastic. oh and I had to use a hand pump to pump this up for the first time....more later

Saved my vacation

Last year on vacation, I knew I had the short straw when it came to the bed. With a freshly Rehabed shoulder I knew that I needed to be prepared, so I purchased this mattress. Straight out of the box I put it on my hardwood floor and fell asleep. On our long journey, we had to stop at a hotel and I was not looking forward to sleeping on a cot, needless to say, I had the best nights rest on a COT! I kid you not! My stansport was so good that I slept on it at the vacation rental all week. Sadly enough, the last hotel on the ride home, I left my mattress on the cot. so, as I prepare for another journey, I have ordered another one and I guarantee I won't be leaving this one behind! As far as others saying it isn't self inflating, it took me one breathe to finish inflating mine. Don't hesitate, buy this mattress, you'll love it.

good cot pad

I got this to go on top of my colman converta suspension cot. It gives the cot just the right amount of softness. I had no trouble rolling it up. It seems to work best if you first fold it up and press most of the air out before trying to roll it up.
