Not reliable. This thing failed within 2 years. Basically, the RH control stopped working and the motor stopped kicking in when needed. Not reliable.

Stopped working after 1 year

Nice looking dehumidifier but it stopped working in my apartment after 1 year. I'm very disappointed after spending so much money so won't be buying this brand again. I wish I could get a refund or replacement.

Don't Waste Your Time or Money

Does not function properly. Failed to remove much moisture. Replaced it with a product that was much better. Also developed ice quickly and dripped all over the carpet.

Frame that holds the filter cracked when removed

I ordered this Freonic dehumidifier on May 7th and received it on the 9th. It's a little noisy when it starts up, but it ultimately quiets down and seems to be effective in its intended operation. However, I am displeased and disappointed with the poor design of the frame that holds the filter in place. The Clean Filter light was illuminated, so I tried to remove the filter. The frame was difficult to remove and it cracked on each side where tabs secured it in place. After cleaning the filter, I was able to snap the frame back in place, but I am concerned with the integrity of its construction and how it might break completely the next time I need to clean the filter. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that this part is not replaceable. They did advise that I could return the unit to Lowe's within 30 days for a replacement. I believe it should be easy enough just to replace the frame, so I don't quite understand the logic and unnecessary effort required to return the dehumidifier - unless I'm returning it for a refund.

Doesn't work

I've had this for less than a week. I've changed around the settings and the tank has never filled with water. The only thing that runs is the fan.

I wish I could give zero stars. I should've listened to other reviews. It arrived with no handle on the bucket. We could deal with that, but on day 2 it froze. We thawed it, ran it again, and it leaked on the floor. When the bucket was removed to empty, the water continued leaking onto the dehumidifier and the floor. Thought maybe it was excess water from being frozen. So we tried it again and same thing. Leaked onto the floor and continued leaking when the bucket was removed. We are returning. It's so frustrating when you spend a good amount of money on a product and it fails, miserably. Now it's OUR problem, to clean things up, repackage, and go to the store for a return. Lowe's should reconsider selling this product. It is a lemon!

Lowe's business practice is unfair to customers!

Ordered (3) 50 pint Dehumidifiers. Paid $589.65 for all three. Received 3, and 1 didn't work. Brought defective Dehumidifier to Customer service. They reimbursed me $196.55. Then charged me $301.37 to order replacement for the defective product they sent me. The defective product was not my fault, but I had to pay over $100.00 to complete my original order.

Unit seems to run and run and run but never collecting any moisture. Been in our camper for 3 nights with it running almost constant. No moisture collected.

Arrived damaged but works

Item arrived with packaging damaged (I wasn't home when delivered or I would have refused delivery), see pics with review. I really didn't want to mess with having to return it and needed it desperately when I ordered it so I inspected damaged package and Styrofoam inside seemed OK. Opened the box and packaging seemed fine. When I tipped the box upside down to make sure there were no "small parts" left behind, a little black plastic part fell out. There was more damage to package than pictured, they only allow up to 6 photos and didn't want to use them all for that.

I loved everything about this dehumidifier. I usually put it on whenever I do laundry and air dry some of my clothes. It will suck all of the moisture from the clothes, making the clothes dry faster.

This thing is a peice of garbage, plugged it in, tuned it on and humidity went from 53 to 67 after 3 days, the room is closed completely its in the middle of the floor tried messing with a few settings put it on basement, and surprisingly it does nothing for a 280$ original price this thing sucks
