It arrived with main front piece completely smashed up. I still put itctogether, but was very unhappy with the broken piece. I did not want to send back and wait for replacement as I have too muxh to assemble as it is and very little time.

Cheap quality

Pretty cheap material. Fake wood print came off in one spot when peeling off stickers that come on the pieces for assembly.

Great size

I did not like that the pieces had scratch marks all over it but it's too much trouble to return it. I do like the size, it is perfect for extra storage in my small efficiency. I am 59 and I built it by myself I laid it on my bed to assemble and it took me about 30 mins. I am enclosing pics

Good for light duty use

This held up fine for a while. I bought for our office to hold the mailing station and accessories. I knew this was on the cheap side and wasn't going to last forever. However, someone at the office tried to use a heavy duty stapler on the top shelf and the force used broke the shelf. Be aware that this isn't meant for a lot of weight!

Great pieces for the money!

Purchased two of these for our "bunk room". Great for organizing books, knick knacks, puzzles, etc. for the grandkids' visits. Wasn't looking to spend a lot of money and these fit the bill perfectly. Took less than an hour to put together the first one by myself, which included reading the instructions and to be sure all parts were there. But the second one was a breeze. Colors go with our black/brown, mid-century look tv cabinet.

Nice for the price

Looks very nice and feels solid enough for its price range. I do recommend it. It’s easy enough to assemble if you can follow directions and have some common sense about which surface will show when finished. You’ll be even more satisfied if you’re even slightly creative. One plastic bracket arrived broken so I got out the superglue. Some edges were rubbed off so I brought out the sharpies. When back pieces are attached their unfinished beige edges are visible from the front. So out came black craft paint and a tiny brush to get into spots sharpies couldn’t get to. Lastly I used black electrical tape down the seams on the back of the back panels since no matter how tight you think you are nailing them, you can see light behind. NOW I’m finished and happy with the results. A nice buy.

Basic 3 Shelf Book case

I had purchased this bookcase as I needed a small book case to put the remaining books I had in. It took me about an hour to put this together as I was working alone. you need a Phillips head screwdriver and a hammer. The instructions were clear - the pieces adequately labeled and no damage to the product. All in all the bookcase shelves seem sturdy - although instructions indicated that this was good for about 15 pounds of weight. The only thing I did not like is that the back pieces were very flimsy and so when you push the books against the back if you push too hard you may push right through. I gave it 4 stars due to the back not being that secure.

This bookcase is just what I was looking for at a fair price. I have a small house and the size is just perfect as I'm in need of more storage in my kitchen. One shelf holds 42 veggie cans (Double layer). The shelves are sturdy and screws together with 18 screws and 4 little plastic feet which makes it easy to slide if you need to move it. I suggest you use a power screw gun to put it together. The instructions made it easy to assemble. Nice cherry wood veneer goes nicely with my orange walls. Does not look cheap, Very nice looking bookcase. I'm impressed with the over-all appearance. My order came on time and undamaged. Thanks Overstock and USPS. Keep up the great service.

Okay, but has some issues.

Looks decent but the shelves aren't adjustable. Which is unfortunate considering they're just tall enough to be too much room for my average books, yet just short enough to make fitting my larger books on impossible. Still waiting to see a Bookshelf that doesn't make you nail on the back board to the frame and risk punching holes through the frame...

So the shelf pieces come with tiny round stickers indicating what piece it is. In this case it was piece "D" the brown part if the shelf came right off when sticker was removed. I asked customer service if they can replace that shelf and I was told they can only issue a return (mind you I'd cut and thrown the box away) or give me a **% discount. The shelf, in my opinion, looks ugly, so 10% was like a "deal with it". I dont recommend this shelf. The finish sucks, its like a thin brown sticker paper.

I really like my shelf. I purchased it to put in our new camper. It fit the area exactly the way I wanted it to. It was very easy to assemble. Only problem I had is that a screw was missing. But other thank that I recommend this

This is just what I was looking for! I purchased the grey shelf, to display family photos. The shelf was very easy to assemble and looks very nice. The price couldn't be beat. They recommend the weight on each shelf does not exceed 15lbs, which wasn't a problem for me. I am very happy with my purchase.
