So far so good!! We LOVE IT! I didn't want to paint our crappy floor figured that would be disastrous and epoxy we couldn't afford. This definitely made a HUGE difference!

These mats are a nice way to keep the garage floor clean in the winter. Its nice to contain the snow and salt and have it run down the mat and not sit on the garage floor. My warning to everyone oi the manufacturer is garbage! They will NOT warranty the product and will do anything possible to get out of a claim. They are a horrible US company!

Great product

★★★★★After I unrolled the G-Floor 7.5' x 17' Ribbed Garage Flooring Cover in Slate Grey in my garage, it more than covered my SUV's width and left plenty of room in front and rear. It was a pretty straightforward procedure for ordering, and I had it within days. The product is substantial, and it seems to be very sturdy, would last a lifetime, and looks great with my car sitting on it. I can now simply let the rain and snow evaporate or sweep it out of the garage instead of having to mop up a mess. It seems to be something I could easily trim if my garage was shorter, so it looks like it would fit anyplace. To be honest, however, the pricing really caught my eye since, after looking at a number of other items, they were all twice as expensive.

Love this ribbed version for channelling the melted snow and water that falls off my vehicle. The ribs direct the water towards the garage door. These have protected my 5 year old floor epoxy/poly aspartic, vinyl flaked floors so well that they still look brand new after I remove these mats. The clear also does not hide the beauty of the decorative floor. Although the mind-set going forward with this purchase was for it to be a sacrificial item, sort of an insurance policy for my floor, it is far from that. It definitely has permanence and can hold its own title for aesthetics even after several years. This is the 4th time I've purchased this and the others are still holding up very well and are still in service at my other properties which also have decorative coatings.

Two years into use starting to have issues

I’m using the ribbed model on an interior concrete floor garage. Worked great backing in my car letting the snow melt onto it or just a rainy day letting a drip in and it would run out of the garage on its own. Depending on your pitch of the floor you may have to sweep it out with a broom but at least it’s not soaking into my concrete. After two years it is now starting to buckle causing a trip hazard and stopping the water from flowing. I am now searching how to resolve this issue. Maybe a heat gun I tried two-sided tape without resolve. I think I’ll be reaching out to the manufacture.

Quality and heavy duty

Thick and heavy duty. The ribbed material was sharp to work with and tore up knuckles. Easy to cut in direction of ribs but difficult to cut across ribs. Laid flat during winter install with garage heated to around 50 degrees. Seamed three rolls together with two strips using the rolled out center seam strip. Looks very nice. If I did it again I dont know if I would use the center seam strips. The overlapped seams laid very flat and you could barely see them. With the ribbed material, it would be very difficult for water to get under them. I had the center strips so used them. It looks nice but not really needed. Floor must be smooth and flat. I spent three days leveling out our pitted and scaled floor. Large cracks and indentations will show through if not reapired prior to installation.

Best priced heavy duty garage floor mat I found. Seem to stay put well. Look nice. Have caught the runoff off the car from 2 good rains and it all stayed on the mat.

Had very high hopes for this flooring and edges. So far our impression is mixed. The products were installed on a 55F sunny day after laying out in the driveway 1/2 of a day. This clearly was no where near warm enough, as it never laid flat. It changed to winter the next day; looks like we are waiting to spring for a flat floor! Does make sweeping easier regardless.

Excellent!

Excellent Product! Just a tip for those buying and receiving during the cold season. When you received the unrolled matts, it will be very cold which is given since delivery trucks don't have heaters in their cargo trunk, STORE IT INSIDE YOUR HOUSE, don't get too excited then complain. This will warm it up to room temp and it will have no wrinkles by the time you unroll it. The ends will have a slight fold towards the floor but this will flatten rather quickly. I helped it a little by using hair dryer to warm up the ends to speed up the flattening but dont overdo it or it will fold the other direction. Just enough to keep it warm. Overall a solid product. I find the grey color hides dirt or the odd tire marks without close inspection and its very easy to clean it out.

I was looking forward to getting my G-Floor garage floor protector. It is a nice medium to dark slate grey color that looks great on the floor. This is made of quality poly vinyl and has ribbing throughout the length of the floor. The installation was very simple. It just needed to be unrolled. The ends curl up, and will eventually relax. The hardest part was getting it out of the well done shipping wrap.

This G-Floor vinyl protective floor covering arrived with plastic shrink wrap on a cardboard roll and packaged with heavy-duty shipping paper. It weighs about 26 lbs. Instructions are included inside the tube. The mat that I received measures 60.75" x 119.25".

not worth the money

Very thin and the material is harder than expected (i.e. difficult to work with it, cut, might break easy), but in the same time soft (!?). If you leave a light weighted chair on it the ribs would flatten. Same happens when you move cabinets or shelves on wheels - I ended up putting my "garage" furniture on another layer of flooring. Comes in rolls - the ends of the pieces (wherever you cut them) are very difficult to flatten. I tried heat, adhesive tape and ended up with installing additional glued boards in the middle of the garage and along the walls to keep the edges from lifting. Stains really easy: I didn't even park the car in the garage yet and already has marks from walking around. The satins /marks tend to be black regardless of what produced the. Most of the little particles (i.e. dust, wood, etc, whatever things go down) that fall on it seem to get stuck (i.e. the shop vac with brush doesn't remove them) and you end up manually cleaning. Considering the amount of work I put in and the spending on additional materials...I regret every single day that I purchased this and will ask the online store for a refund.

Totally water-right and thick and sturdy

My garage floor was a muddy sandy mess last winter and my plans to paint and seal it this past summer fell through, so I sought to protect the floor somehow. I found this product and it’s been GREAT. The ice and snow that melts down onto it remains contained due to the grooves, and are easily mopped up next day by removing car and doing a quick 3 minute tidy up. The width is just ride for a midsized SUV, really no water gets off either side, and the legth is even better. ONLY downside to this product is the curl up at one end due to being rolled up for so long. I weighed it down with brick and duct tape but it keeps curling up. With colder weather upon us, the curled sections have now snapped as the car drives over. It has no impact on water retentio, just looks bad. I’ll try to source some sort of full width weight that can be driven over, next year.

Nice alternative to epoxy covering

My garage floor isn't in the best shape. I've investigated epoxy but didn't like the price or potential reliability issues (coming up with hot tires).

G-Floor flooring, great looking and value!

Admittedly I just installed the flooring with edging and center trim. I also purchased indoor outdoor carpet at Hime Depot to cover garage areas where vehicles are not parked. My primary reason fro installing the G-Floor flooring was to contain the winter snow and ice melt along with the dirt and salt it brings with it. I like to park our cars in the garage all year long... but my garage floor settled and wouldn't you know it the water now pools right in front of the door to enter the house. I had several layers of area rugs/matts the bottom 1-2 would get complete soaked with the snow/ice salt melt off the vehicles. The garage keep just above freezing even in the coldest winter months... the garage is insulated well, as I have a bedroom above the garage. With the G-Floor flooring and edging raises the height of the floor along the edges to have gravity flow the snow/ice and salt melt out toward the garage opening. I do plan to periodically use a squeegee in the winter months to pull the melted snow/ice and salt out. Don't know if this will all be effective but that is the plan... stop tracking all that dirty wetness into the house in the winter.

good quality

The item arrived right at our doorstep. Did not buckle or require anything other than to roll it out and drive on it.. Are considering purchasing another one, so the entire garage floor is covered except by a few inches. Water from the car airconditioner does collect in the grooves, but that is no big deal.

Fantastic!!

Fantastic product! I used it in a basement laundry/bathroom. Sweeps up nice and heavy duty enough to not rip or tear. Used it above a concrete floor that had hairline cracks in it (self-leveler). Looks great and def better looking than that garage epoxy paint you can buy. I bought a roll of rosin paper (used to protect hardwood floors during renovations) and made a stencil of the floor so i could make a rough cutout around knee-walls, builtin bookcases, shower pan etc etc. Rolled out the flooring in the backyard, placed the stencil on it and used a razor blade to cut it out. I left the 1/4" expansion area around the perimeter and then covered it by nailing baseboard to the wall. The original size was perfect and def affordable. Worth every penny. Extremely happy with the outcome.

My Garage Never Looked Better

My garage had gotten really rough looking. The original installation was sub standard and I had ponding near the bay openings. I used a vinyl concrete patching material with bonding agent to get level and after curing, I epoxy coated the floor. My concern was primarily to avoid having the repair damaged by car wheels.

Great value for the cost. My only issue was the color was not like the picture. The color was much darker than was indicated.
