Do not buy this product

This product does not work on all surfaces that it claims. I used it to repair a ceramic Halloween candy dish and it took several applications and three days before it held in any meaningful way. I then tried to use it to adhere a metal toilet paper holder to a tiled wall. I tried several applications and put pressure on it to keep it in place for three days and it still did not work. Would not recommend this product. There is definitely better products on the market.

Waste of product and money

Product stopped dispensing with a good deal left in the tube. Product dispensed by pumping the handle on the tube, not by any “gas” pressurization. In addition, the product did not have much hold except on very porous wood like lathe. Did not hold 2x2s together well.

Awesome stuff.

This product is excellent. I used it to hang chair rail. I like that not much product is wasted due to a cap and button cut off. It does come out heavy at first, but I just spread it with a popsicle stick. The railing was sticking to the wall by the time I finished putting in my nails it makes it easier for one person jobs and is not as messy as a caulking gun.

I have used this product before and it is wonderful. I made this particular purchase because of the the container. This same product is available in a caulk tube format. Not all stores sell THIS prticular delivery system. One can open it, queeze out what is needed (with the built in handle) for the job, then seal it and put a cap on the built in spout. Just like new for the next job. There are other products similar to this, but none that I know of have the same delivery system as this. It certinly DOES meet my expectations.

Really Grabs

I purchased this to re-attach vinyl stair nosing that has been pulled lose while moving a piece of furniture. I am really impressed with how well it grabbed and held. It's water soluble so easy to clean up. I really like the smaller tube since I hate purchasing an entire large caulk size tube for just a small job. I really wish I had looked more closely for the clear version of this product. The white shows a little and I need to go back and clean it up a little better. Overall it's a very effective adhesive.

Does not work! False Advertising!

Loctite Power Grab simply does not work! In addition, their packaging is false advertising. It says "0 Sec. Instant Grab". It actually takes several days to take hold. I don't see how it can get such a high rating, but I am telling you the truth - buy something else. F26 adhesive is far better choice. It costs more, but it works! You better be happy with where you put it because within a few seconds, it is there to stay. To sum it up - throw this Loctite junk in the garbage and buy something else that will work!

[Rewarded Review] Don’t call a handyman. It’s very easy to use.

I am no professional, and being married to one doesn’t make me one either. But, Loctite gets the job done. Putting it on the moldings around the shower and sinks was very easy. There was no need to use clamps or tape to hold it in place. I keep a wet or damp cloth to cleanup any residue that might seep out when pushing the molding in place. I’ve secretly used it when my children have managed to pop-out a tile or a piece of wood from around the house. My husband hasn’t noticed the difference. There’s no strong smells. It’s dry and securely in its place by the time he gets home.

Quick Grab on Shoe Molding Where Nail Gun Wouldn't

I specifically bought the Loctite because I read it was good for gluing polystyrene to another surface, and because of the "quick grab" feature. It did hold a polystyrene medallion to the ceiling fairly well while the light fixture was attached but it came loose at the slightest bump. That was OK because once the fixture was attached the medallion remained in place just fine -- no screws needed. Next I used it to glue two pieces of polystyrene molding together. Hmm, not so good. It was good in the sense that it allowed me to move the pieces around to get them exactly in place, but it had to be clamped overnight to bond, so I was disappointed. The next day I needed to put two short pieces of wood shoe molding in place in a toe kick where the nail gun wouldn't fit so I thought I'd try the Loctite again. I put the caulk on one piece, thought I'd put on too much, and put the other piece of shoe molding over the first piece to pick up some of the caulk -- WOW! It grabbed instantly and it took a good pull to separate the two pieces of molding. I proceeded to put the two pieces of shoe molding in place, no nails needed! I wasn't impressed with the Loctite on the polystyrene, but I will use it in the future for attaching molding. I expect it will save time and nails.

Good product, lousy buying experience

Loctite makes good adhesive, but this pressure pack packaging should have died on the drawing board. Followed directions step by step, but no adhesive. Went to website for instructions, no adhesive. Watched a YouTube video, yep I was doing it right but still no adhesive. Nothing to lose at that point so I took it apart. All cheap, small plastic parts. Once I completely disassembled it, I was able to get some adhesive out. However, without the applicator head there was no control and it was unusable. At least I know the tube wasn't empty or solidified so it has to be the lousy delivery system. My advice, buy Loctite but steer clear of the Pressure Packs.
