Hopes of zero hold, gone. The tube was so difficult to squeeze. Looked like it was dried. It was so thick, only good for wide projects. Trying to glue something small don't think would work. Re thinking purchasing Loctite.
Pay attention
Purchase this clear adhesive for a small project. Cut the tip off and tried using it but the caulking gun couldn’t push the adhesive out. It was cured in the tip so I ended up cutting the tube in half thinking some of it was good. Nope. It was all cured. I think something purchased and used part of it and returned it.
Dried up tube
I bought one tube, it was delivered, I tried to use it on a craft project and the adhesive would not come out no matter how hard I'd squeeze it. So I returned it. The 2nd tube a bought was not much better, very hard to squeeze only got a small amount out. I went with your brand because it's popular, but both were dried up. So I returned it and switched to a different brand.
Doesn't dry hard
First off, this product is made much harder to use because of the illegibility of the instructions. They are in extremely fine print written on a clear surface: impossible to make out. Perhaps I am not using it correctly (couldn't read the instructions!!), but I used this on a plastic item and found that it did not dry hard. The surface of the product stills seems soft after 3 days, more like a rubber cement.
Worked well for my needs.
I was having new Hardie planks and soffits put on my freestanding garage. I'm a 68 year old senior woman and used this Loctite glue with 8" screening I purchased at Lowe's on the inside of Hardie board soffit. I cut all my mesh pieces first and laid them on top of the boards, then rolled the screen up. Used my new manual battery powered caulking gun (who knew such a thing existed?) to put glue on the board. I knew I would need to smooth the caulking glue and mesh together, so I laid a vinyl glove by each board and wore a cotton glove under. Ever tried to put a vinyl glove on damp hands? I completed one board at a time. Spread the glue on each side of the holes, then smoothed the rolled mesh with the flat of my hand over the glue. Put a fresh vinyl glove on so wouldn't make a glue mess all over my new caulking gun. Worked fast and perfectly.
Worst product ever.
This product is a joke. No "instant" grab whatsoever. No grab PERIOD. Do not buy if you want something that actually works! Used on wood. Went back to Titebond which actually works. Bought some other Locktite products, but taking them back asap.
Worse than worthless
I don’t know about the caulk gun cartridge size, but the squeeze tube is nearly impossible to dispense - completely impossible to apply in anything but disjointed gobs. It’s worse than worthless for use on any kind of trim because it is so nearly solidly thick you can’t get the trim against whatever you’re mounting it to, even with pounding, leaving a large gap to be caulked. I wish I had never seen it when I was looking at adhesives in the store.
I am a remodeling contractor and used this product to attach base to a bathroom wall that hid a lot of plumbing. Nails were not feasible in this location. I have used this product in the past with great results. Not sure if they changed the formula or I just got a bad tube but it would not "grab" or hold. Kept comming loose. Ended up using another product.
This glue did not do as advertised. It did not cure, bond or perform as advertised. The adhesive was NOT tacking after 2 days exposed to warm air in a dry location. The goal was to reattach an acrylic Lense that hangs below the luminaire. The glue was thick but had no grab, so it did not grab or bond and had no structural integrity, essentially like a putty in a tube. The purchase and use of this product did not work.
Everyone expects a review.
Have not used it yet. Bought it to have on hand for a project. It’s a ‘3’ because I had to choose something. Everyone wants a ‘free’ review now days. I can’t offer a review for everything and everyone. Maybe more likely if offered better compensation than a ‘very slim, remote, luck of the draw” gift certificate that I will never get. Have you, anyone?
"0-Second Instant Grab" claim is nowhere near true
I paid $13 for this 9-oz Loctite Ultimate product only because of the "0 second Instant-Grab" claim on the tube. I assumed that meant it would adhere instantly, like a less watery type of Super Glue, which is what I needed for the ceiling project I was working on. Well, Loctite highly exaggerated their zero-second adhesion claim, it was more like 10 or 20 minutes. The glue did eventually dry and bond the parts together but only after lots of incredibly frustrating time. Very disappointed, very bait-and-switch claims, especially for the high price. Would not buy again.
Might be good if you can get it out of the tube!
Very difficult to get out of tube. I asked my husband to try thinking maybe it needed more muscle power. He had about the same luck as i did. We could be out a dab at a time, but certainly not the long bead i needed. Perhaps I purchased an old bottle? I guess I will never know because I won’t be giving it a second chance at $13 for a 9 ounce tube.
I used this stuff to permanently hold a tub spigot/pipe in place after I pushed it about an inch back into the wall/tile. This was easier than tearing up the tile to gain access to the plumbing to pull it back and clamp it down.

I was disappointed by this Loctite Power Grab. It was extremely difficult to squeeze it out of the tube and the product was stiff and not easily workable. The sound mat on the underside of my kitchen stainless steel sink had peeled down. I used this to glue it back up and it peeled off again after about a week or so. Maybe the product was expired or damaged somehow.
A one because I can’t give it a zero
I bought this it was double the heavy duty but I hoped that it would work I did everything I said I cleaned it as I was supposed to. I gave it the amount of time it was supposed to actually gave it a little longer. It all fell apart. It was a waste so we redid it. We gave it longer. It’s still fell apart. We ended up using nails and screws was a waste of our money and I don’t throw away money. This was a waste. I still have a half a tube walk away did not buy this. If I could get my moneys worth, I would do it in a heartbeat I doubt I can.
Don’t waste your money
No more nails is inferior to every other construction adhesive I’ve used. I only bought this because I wanted a clear construction adhesive for sticking pvc panels to glass, but this junk stuck the panel on for about 10 minutes and then failed. Switched over to some regular PL construction adhesive and it worked just fine. I’ve never had any of the no more nails products work as advertised and this one is no exception. Don’t waste your money on this garbage, if you want something that sticks get some PL premium. If you want something clear, just use clear silicone- silicone sticks just as well as this “adhesive” and is cheaper.
Not for bonding of materials
This glue requires clamping or nailing until it is set. I glued a wooden baseboard to the wall, held it tightly until it was stable. I went back to check after 5 minutes and again after 30 minutes, and the baseboard was still tight to the wall. But the next morning I found the baseboard had fallen off the wall, despite the fact that the wall and baseboard were perfectly clean and dry. The dried glue was like rubber and it peeled off the board and wall with some difficulty.
I used this adhesive in the past and it did...
I used this adhesive in the past and it did a great job of gluing translucent art glass to window glass. The adhesive was 100% invisible. When I went back to buy it again, a year later, the loctite name and logo was all over it. I followed the directions including misting the adhesive with water in a spray bottle before adhering smooth surfaces to each other. This time, the “clear” adhesive got cracked and milky around the edges. The piece of art I was working on for a month was ruined. Not sure what loctite did to the formula, but it didn’t behave the same as it has in the past. I won’t buy it again.
Hope you have a strong hands!
This stuff is VERY hard to dispense! This from the first use on a new tube, and thereafter. I had to squeeze the lever on my caulking gun so hard it actually started to bend, and then only a tiny amount exited the nozzle. Could not run a continuous bead. Had to use a screwdriver to scoop-up a dab from the nozzle and spread it on the substrate. Maybe the problem is the constriction device they have at the plastic nozzle/tube interface?

I'll give it a 4.5, rounded to 5. Depending on your project, this is a very good adhesive. For example, if quick bonding of lightweight materials is what you want, this is great for exterior or interior. For example, I've been using it for gluing light pvc and wood trim pieces on a patio overhang project where nails can't be used. A lot of high end trim pieces, that are lightweight and up high where the instant grab is great. The materials I'm gluing are pt wood, pvc vinyl, cedar wood, and concrete. If you are looking for superior strength for heavier structural materials and can wait overnight, it isn't as strong bonding as a polyurethane adhesive. For example I once had to glue hardie siding to a concrete wall and used polyurethane adhesive. I had to wait overnight but I'll tell you that the siding is permanently fused to the wall....whereas I was able to pull pieces apart after 24-48 hours on my current project using the power grab product, But, overall very good for almost all projects, and very easy to work with.
