[Rewarded Review] Fun, different
I like that it rocks. That’s great for a fidgeter like me. That comes at a slight cost - the seating is less reclining, less slouchy. You are upright, almost totally. Also, if the chair is on a slope, it’s harder to rock than if it’s flat. If you like rocking enough and don’t dislike the drawbacks, it’s for you. I’d recommend.m trying before buying. As for me, I’ll keep it.
Very uncomfortable!
I bought this chair at Dick’s on a Monday. I thought it was the same chair as the Roadtrip Rocker. I set it up when I got home and wow! This has to be one of the most poorly designed chairs of all time. First, the rear-left back brace is too close to the mesh back. This brace digs into your back/hinder area and makes it excruciating to sit in. Second, the seam for the mesh parts is raised up high enough to also dig into your back. Third, it’s too low.
I love the rocker. It’s
I love the rocker. It’s amazing. The quality is 100% perfect. Fabric is highly sturdy. This chair helps my back pain, when we are sitting at a car show for 4 hrs. Thank you for the replacement warranty. My spring in the rocker broke in half on the other chair, and your company stood behind it’s warranty 100%. Thank you.
Didn't Hold Up
I gave this 2 stars because 2 years later it is falling apart. It wasn't used very much until this year and stayed folded up. The chair was comfortable and was out of the sun. When I 1st purchased this in 2022, I would've given it 5 stars. Durability is 2 stars and this should have lasted much longer. I'm very disappointed and don't think that every year a person should buy another one. Very disappointed.
[Rewarded Review] Loved it until…
I loved this chair and kept it in the back of my car at all times for my kids sports. It progressively got harder and harder to fold. By the end of our second season one of the rivets broke leaving a joint disconnected. I had to toss the chair. With that said, I still liked it enough to buy a new one. Hopefully, this one lasts longer. I love that there is no storage bag to mess with, cell phone pocket, cup holder, simple open, easy to carry, high vented back and spacious seat.
So comfortable and lots of compliments!
Bought two of these chairs two years ago after using a small camping chair whose grommets were rusting away. Definitely a huge upgrade!
Excellent chair, highly recommend
Excellent chair for camping, watching parades, anything. I wasn't sure if I'd miss having a bag to carry it in, but it's actually nicer just having the built-in shoulder strap. It's faster! The rocking action is nice, it's comfortable without feeling like a swingset. I need to order another though, because my wife claimed this and gave me her old chair instead!
Save your money
At first, these chairs are much heavier and more difficult to open and close than others. But being that it rocks and is comfortable, it was a trade off. Purchased two for baseball games so usage was minimal. I’m 175lbs, so they are not being abused, but you will only get about two years out of them until the stitching starts coming apart, bolts start breaking, and the rivets fail. At first is was just the rivet on the incredibly annoying strap used to hold it closed. Then they all start breaking until it doesn’t work.
Disappointed :(
Bought 2 of these chairs last summer... since then, the grommet holding on the carrying strap has broken on both chairs, and both have become such a pain to collapse when we're done using them, the legs are super stiff and don't want to fold up easily. We've not been rough with them or used them excessively; they've only been used to sit at our son's baseball games last fall and this past spring. In my opinion, we spent way too much on these for them to perform (or, well, NOT perform) in this way. The positives: they are comfortable, and don't have to mess with storing them in a bag/sleeve... but overall, I've been disappointed for the performance given the price point.
[Rewarded Review] Super comfortable great way to relax. Thinking about purchasing a whole bunch more for the outdoor.
So my wife and I went to my union picnic and lo and behold they had a raffle which had an outdoor chair that rocked, so we bought raffle tickets and we’re hoping to win that same chair. Long story short, we did not win but we found out where we can purchase it. Costco had the chair, I went and bought it, but we did not like it so I took it back. I went to Dick‘s, and lo and behold there was a chair that rocks that she was looking for so I purchased it and I’m so glad that I did. I would definitely recommend these chairs to a friend without a doubt super comfortable and functionable.
Dad joke loading: these chairs ROCK!
These chairs are great! Comfortable sitting position plus rocking. They fold easily and the clasp is just the right length to “batten down the hatches”. One thing I would say if asked for an improvement thought is that the shoulder strap - I love the fact that it’s built-in to the chair, yet it seems to tend to want to slip off my shoulder while carryigng multiple things to a ballfield. Maybe a bit of a grippy pad on the strap to help hold in place? Thank you for literally changing the game when it comes to outdoor seating!
[Rewarded Review] Two time purchase
We love these chairs overall and have recently purchased a second round after 2/3years. They have held up the longest. We are a sports family so they get a lot of use. The attached strap makes easy to not fumble with a bag. Once you get use to getting them closed. The trick is to pull up on the seat material as you squeeze it shut. They are easy. We bent the first one. I took a star off bc the strap eventually tore off and we tried several times to reattach it to no avail. But we still went out and bought the same ones to replace them.
Excellent customer service
Great customer service in replacing our chairs. The rocker chair is very comfortable and we love them. We are very appreciative of the replacement chairs, however, the fabric is the same, so we are concerned it will not hold up as before. The fabric piping frayed quickly and the main fabric split easily. Hoping we don't have the same experience with these replacements. Thanks to the customer service people, who were wonderful and walked us through making a claim. Great company.
Very comfortable chair.
Chair is very comfortable. Love the rocking motion but comfortable just for sitting too. Other models have a bar which hits the back of your legs. This chair does NOT have that feature because the seat design is different. Also the back is high and the arm rests are wide and comfy. The fabric is also soft so molds to your body which we like as well. Chairs fold easily and are easy to transport.
Wanted to love them
We bought two of these chairs last year to watch our kids sporting events. Just as others have said, we had issues from the start getting the chairs to fold closed and thought they just needed time to get broken in. Friends of ours have the same chairs and all they had to do was pull up on the bottom part of the chair and they would fold up. Ours we had to completely flip over and force them closed. So annoying! And then to top it off, the carrying strap on one of them broke this week. These chairs are not super light to begin with, so without the strap they’re basically garbage especially when you have to carry other things too. I wanted to love them but they seem to have had issues from the start!
Poor Quality Control- Chairs won't Close Properly
Bought 2 of these to use at our boys baseball games and from brand new they were almost impossible to close. We chalked it up to needing broken in and just dealt with it. It has been two years with light use and they still have the same issue. In order to close the chair I have to close halfway, reach underneath with both hands and push the two rods that slide out making the seat portion with my fingers to force them to slide inside of their bracket. I am making this review after noticing our friends have the almost identical Kickback Rockers and they open and close effortlessly with one hand proving that ours have been defective from day one. We splurged on these chairs when bought them because we were tired of sliding our Walmart Specials back in their bags but since owning these we would gladly take those back.
[Rewarded Review] Very Comfortable
My old, less expensive, chair broke on Fathers Day while watching my son play baseball. There was a Dick's nearby so I went looking for a new one between games. They had a sale for 20% off this chair. Many of the other parents have the same chair so I figured why not? It is awesome! Very comfortable and nice to be able to rock back instead of slouching down to see under railings, etc. at games. When my wife saw it, she made me go out and get her one also...lol! The only downside is that it is a little heavy to carry, but not exceedingly heavy. I highly recommend getting one to anyone who uses an outdoor chair regularly.
Not as appeared, to me, on TV
Received yesterday; opened this afternoon; repackaged for return. Very stiff and difficult to open up. Difficulty closing using strap; chair stiffness needed X-extra 'ump' to close last bit and allow strap to slip over 'knob'. Chair VERY wide. When sitting/not rocking felt sensation of slipping out of chair; back possibly at 90degree angle to seat. Uncomfortable. Little rocking excursion. Difficult to get out of. Otherwise beautiful designed with good intent. Await a much improved design to address these issues. Had watched several presentation to assess these concerns but all host appeared to sit in chairs normally (nor bracing with feet to stay in chair when not rocking), etc. Chairs all opened/closed very easily & quickly. How many days did someone unstiffen chairs and host practice sitting standing, etc?
Huge Disappointment
I received the chair today and am so terribly disappointed. I bought it because they said it was easy to get out of - it is not. Honestly, I thought I was going to have to roll out onto the floor to get out of it. I pulled another chair over and finally was able to get myself out of it. It was heavier than the hosts led the viewers to believe, too. Supposedly, it is "higher" than the average folding chair - I guess if you are comparing it to a sand chair, it is higher! I honestly think it is lower than the average lawn chair. I could have cried - I really thought it was going to be perfect for sitting out on my front step with the dog and drinking my coffee - ha...no way I could get in and out of it and definitely not with coffee. I guess I'll give it away or shove it in the shed. SO DISAPPOINTED.
Poor collapsible chair
We originally purchased 2 chairs returned after 30 days and got new ones because we thought the chairs were defective. The new chairs were the exact same. We ended up keeping the chairs because they are comfortable chairs.
