Costly to install the water filter

it is difficult to install and costly. Today in the USA 95% of the houses are copper pipes for water. This filter is designed for PVC or plastic pipes. It need a lot of modifications to be connected to the copper pipes.

We have been using the GE under sink dual flow water filtration system for a few weeks now and I could not be happier. It took my husband and I who have no prior plumbing experience approximately 45 minutes to unpackage, read and install. We have a softening system that runs throughout our home, but that was not enough for my family to drink water from the tap. Now with this GE filtration system we went from using bottled water for literally everything (filling water bottles, making coffee, drinking, etc) to turning the filtration system on and using that. What a huge cost saver already! The dual flow makes it flow like a normal running faucet unlike others in the past I have experienced that run a small stream. We are very pleased with this GE filtration system and highly recommended it.

We recently installed our GE Dual Flow Water Filtration System and we really like it. First of all the install was so easy. The directions were very thorough and took my husband less than an hour to install it, and that was including take out a soap dispenser that was previously there. Now for the most important part the taste of the water. I am a water snob and will NOT drink tap water or unfiltered water. My sink water is so good now! I can taste the difference, it tastes so fresh I love it! I highly recommend this water system! Must buy!

I've been using the GE High Flow Filtration System for a couple weeks now and I love it! I was nervous at first about doing the self install because of the different piping and pieces that came in the box but it couldn't have been easier to install! If you can drill a hole and follow directions you can install this yourself in an hour or less. The directions are easy to follow and don't assume you know what your doing and they don't leave out easy steps to save money. Everything you need is included in the box except the drill and bit. You could even mount the on/off switch under the sink or else where if you wanted to be creative and hide it. It's designed to be added to an existing faucet but can be added along with a new one. The filters last up to six months and are easy to change. I've recommend this to my mother and grandmother who only drink filtered water and I have gifted another. Best add on water filter on the market! Highly recommended.

This is the best filter I have ever used for my water. It was very easy to install and use. The system did take up some space underneath the sink, so maybe a slimmer version can be created for those that don’t have lots of space. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend purchasing.

I have to be completely honest, I know nothing at all about water filtration systems. I don't know what makes them work, I don't know why one filter system is better than another. This might be great but I can't tell one from another.

This GE under sink water filtration system will give you better tasting water. It's fairly easy to install and reduces sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and lead. It comes with everything needed to install, including filters. No more bottled water for me.

My husband is a contractor but he said even I could installl this water filtration system. You Tube has a handy video from GE on how to assemble and install. It is very easy to understand and needs only simple tools. It only took us a few minutes to put in. The only warning is that you will need a hole saw if you have an undermount sink with granite or quartz. The video depicts running the fitration fixture through the hose knock out in an overmount sink. Sink hoses and over mount sinks are not that popular in recent years. But they do make a hole cutter in the appropriate size for your granite. That is a bit more sophistocated, so I would suggest getting a granite sample and practicing cutting the hole. Otherwise, it is easy to install and gives you great water.

First and foremost installing was simple as long as you watch the installation video on YouTube. The only part where you may need a power tool is to drill a new 1.25 inch hole if you don’t have one. I’ve been using it for weeks now and haven’t had any issues, especially with leaks. The water does taste better, I feel as if it filters out some of the chemicals found in tap water. Overall it took me about 45 minutes to install and that was taking my time and being gentle. I am glad I have this unit, it will cut down on buying bottled water and save some plastic.

we have been getting tired of drinking tap water and it's just a bother to have a separate filtering picture on the side. So this was a very welcome upgrade. My husband is quite handy, and installation was a breeze for him and took no time at all. Water flow is good. The water initially does taste funny, but it's probably because we're so used to drinking tap water all the time. Hoping we get used to it soon. Really happy to know that we can drink filtered water straight from the tap now - so convenient

[Rewarded Review] Eliminates unwanted chemicals and pharmaceuticals

I contacted a Plumber to help me install this as I the Plummer needed to drill a hole in one of the pipes. The rest of the hook up was easily done by the plumber who took about 15 minutes to install the whole thing. If no holes are needed to be made in a pipe then the average person should be able to install this system on their own. I like that the light on the box lights up when a new filter is need and this box is battery operated. This system has a 1 year warranty. This filtration system is supposed to eliminate the taste of chlorine, which it has so far. It also eliminates pharmaceuticals that can leech into the water supply. The water from my sink tastes purer with no after taste.
