You sent me the wrong faucet!!! I need the faucet I bought. Just realized after the plumber installed it. Also, the one you sent me is TERRIBLE. The cartridge and the transition is HELL.

Faucet Leaks

It looks nice, but the tub faucet leaks in the back where it connects to the tile. The part that slides over the pipe is loose, which leaves space for water to escape while the diverter is in use. Disappointed

Parts missing/ used item?

Not sure if this is a Home Depot or Moen problem. This was a Chrome order and part of it came in brushed nickel. Also washer in shower head missing. Did not find out until the builder putting last touches on bathroom remodel discovered it. Will never order online from Home Depot again. Also ordered Moen drain parts for tub that came in boxes with no Moen markings at all. Very shady and will never order from HD again. Could not return and exchange because of time constraints.

Only problem, the tub spout says it has a separate flange but it came integrated with the spout. I was hoping that the flange was separate, as I might not have wanted to use it. It's ok, though. We can rework some things to make it work.

MOEN tub and shower fixtures

Very nice Moen fixtures. Well made. Would be nice if tub stopper and overflow cover came with package. Had to order a different brand which worked.

Eh

I'm a seasoned DIYer, and I know how to install plumbing items. This shower handle took several tries to get it to turn without too much "bouncing and sticking". It still is not as smooth as I would expect a Moen product to be, but, until I get that nagging urge to try it again, it'll have to do.

Don’t buy the set. Buy each piece separately.

The Moen Gibson set was not worth the money spent.

Very happy. Easy install, I haven’t had any problems with leaking and found the quality to be up to par (even though this was much cheaper than other options I looked at.) Overall, I would absolutely buy this again. Also shipping was just as expected and I appreciate that it doesn’t come with unnecessary packaging.

Great shower and tub kit

Purchased this kit to refresh a secondary bathroom and could not be more pleased with the quality, aesthetics and functionality of the product. Moen is the BEST and they stand behind their products with a lifetime warranty.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT

Made it all of 1 week of use before the spout diverter broke. When reassembled, it never worked properly; water goes out both the tub and shower. Extremely disappointing with the cheap quality of this product. Do not buy this if you need something with even low level durability

Water spots look terrible

After one use, this product is covered in water spots that don't go away. We have a water softener and after a week of use I can't get the spots off. Maybe if you dried it very well after each use it MIGHT look ok, but any drops of water on it look terrible. For something that is going to always get water on it, it should be significantly more spot free. If I didn't pay a plumber to install two sets of these, I would definitely return them. Other than how they will probably always look terrible with water spots, the quality seems good. It is all metal parts and seems to function fine.

Either ON or OFF - no control of flow amount

I was disappointed that I can't regulate this lever to move it in/out to have a smaller amount of water flow like I can my sink's faucet. I realize it is on me for not looking for this feature. Just assumed it did as all other faucets I'd used you could regulate getting a lot of water or a smaller flow. On this one, it's either on or off. I wish I'd bought a different model.

Stunning Tub/Shower Faucet

I'm in love with this tub/shower faucet! It looks very stunning and timeless in our guest bathroom. I also purchased just the shower faucet for our master bathroom shower. The clean straight lines work well with any style. Our new home is very farmhouse and this would work in a modern home as well. The functionality is perfect and it's simple yet pretty. I'd highly recommend this faucet to anyone looking to purchase a tub/shower faucet!

The product is great quality, the finish is nice in nickel . Rhe only issue is the depth distance of the in wall plumbing to the shower handle. I got mine to fit perfectly with some rubber gasket modifications Andwas able to use the shorter ext tube. Looks perfect!

Looksworks fine at a good price. Just a caution to make sure to have your mixer set back far enough in the wall or you’ll end up with the stem portion of the mixer sticking out. 4 stars because moen really should anticipate this will happen more often than not (since there’s no note on installation guides for either the trim kit or mixer), and include an additional trim piece to make up for this gap.

The shower system looks amazing and gave a modern look to our bathroom. Everything is sturdy and the handle is easy to turn. We were disappointed by the shower head, as it provided an extremely low water pressure. This shower head is not adjustable, so we decided to purchase the individual Gibson adjustable shower head with 6 settings. The new shower head makes ALL the difference in the water pressure. It is frustrating that Moen does not offer an option that includes the adjustable shower head, but it is worth the cost. I would only recommend this set if you like low water pressure, or plan to purchase the adjustable head.

poor features

I bought this product less then 3 months ago and the tub faucet is failing to turn over to the shower properly. and over time a plastic piece fell from the faucet and the knob for changing over to the shower broke off completely. I had to replace the tub faucet less than three months from installation (installed by a professional). The replacement in not working properly either and the tub runs while the shower is on.

Very very disappointed with Moen. I specifically wanted a matte black finish for my bathroom. The fixtures look great and match the Moen sink faucet that I ordered. However, the shower head / tub spout are terrible. I ordered two for a renovation I did and both have malfunctioned within 2 months. The piece to change from tub spout to shower head is made of cheap plastic. Tug on it a few times and eventually it lifts from the entire piece and will no longer work. I could not shower until I received a replacement. Additionally, the shower head leaks water while the tub spout is on. These fixtures were installed by a licensed plumber. I would highly recommend to stay away from this product all together. Unfortunately, their rough in valve is proprietary so now I can only switch to another Moen product unless I change that too. Very exhausting.... Wayfair did provide me with no hassle return and they were extremely helpful with this issue. Moen on the other hand... would not recommend.

Of course I've already installed the drain and tub overflow/stopper. May just buy a tub spout that looks similar and keep the rest of the pieces.

This is a nice, clean set at a reasonable price. However, the knob that the shower handle is attached to does NOT sit flush to the back plate like the pictures show. It sticks out a full inch from the back plate, revealing some of the inner workings and screws. Not the look I was going for.
