This was exactly what I needed above a small side table next to a bed in our guest bedroom. The finish was old and elegant. And the fixture itself is solid and substantial.

The only con for my application was the shade was very ivory and did not work with my wall color. This would not be a negative for others. This was intended for a bedroom but was returned (UNINSTALLED) because of the shade color. Very pretty fixture. Love the quality. The on switch is also a smooth turning dimmer switch! Would work well as a plug-in, as well as, hard wired. None

Always wanted a pair of classic bedside scones but most are that dated looking shiny brass and too expensive. Love the gilded iron on these and the design. Great price.
