This Gotham Skillet is the best!

I cook a lot! I always wear out my 10" skillet first before all the other pieces. So this time I decided to purchase just a new 10" skillet. I am so glad I chose the Gotham Skillet. It is a breeze to clean up. Nothing sticks. I am very pleased with my purchase. I am thinking about purchasing a entire set of Gotham cookware. You can't go wrong with this skillet if easy clean up and non sticking is what you are looking for. Oh, I forgot to mention that it induction cooking as well which is about all I do.

Gotham Steel 12" Hammered Fry Pan with Lid

Love this pan! I haven't tried it in the oven yet, but the nonstick quality is superior to other pans I've used over the years. I've been washing it by hand, but it's supposed to be dishwasher safe. I wipe it out with a paper towel and even pan-fried sausage doesn't stick. It cooks evenly and it's deep enough to cook large quantities of food. I wash it with a soft sponge and a drop of Dawn liquid and done! I'm thinking about buying more.

Isn't non-stick

Was non-stick for the first dozen or so uses, but slowly began to stick a little, and now the pan needs to be soaked to wash it. Never used metal or abrasive scrubbers initially, but when pan started sticking more, had to meet the challenge. I'm shopping again for a lightweight non-stick pan.

great pan

im not one to give 5 star ratings to anything yet this pan deserves one. it doesn't stick, it heats evenly, it cleans up with a gentle wipe. it cooks cake in the oven. the price is good. i am on retirement and must be cautious with my purchases and that is the only reason i am waiting for my next payday to purchase a sauce pan from this line to replace my 45 years old favorite pot. need i say more on how great my experience with this skillet has been. a hardy Yes to this pan

everything sticks to this pan

the 1st time I used it I cooked eggs with no oil.. Ruined my eggs(medium-low heat 4 of 10). Second time I tried it with oil same results. I cooked shicken in the oven, took me 10 min to clean the pan. I took that right back to Walmart and got my money back. Complete waste of money.

Absolutely horrible

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. Used it several times with no problems. Never used cooking spray. Only extra virgin olive oil. Then one night I fried hash brown with grated russet potatoes, chopped onions and a light layer of extra virgin olive oil. He potatoes started sticking horribly. Had to scrape into another pan to finish. There are no visual defects with pan. Still looks brand new, but ever since that night everything sticks to it!! Picture shows a simple attempt at ground beef after giving up and scraping into another pan. Don’t waste your money.

This is NOT a non -stick pan.

I purchased 3, one as a gift. I was quickly reminded that i wasted my money. I'm an experienced cook too but after several tries following the instructions, it still sticks. I love the hammered design and beautiful copper color but that doesn't justify the cost for this non-stick pan.

Gotham "NON STICK" pan..non-stick for a few weeks.

Pan looked great, handles could be insulated. They were as advertised, for a short time. After weeks of use (and hand washing), though, they are no longer Non Stick, but rather Everything sticks as if glued on. I will definitely NOT be buying them, or any other pans in this line, again.

Breeze to clean!

My husband %26 I gifted each other with this new set of pots %26 pans %26 baking dishes for Christmas this year. We love them! No oils %26 absolutely no sticking! We r totally impressed with the ceramic lining. Plus, love the handsome copper hammered look. One thing could be improved is to sand down %26 round the edges on the handles on the dutch oven pot. They're quite sharp. Hubby is fixing that for us. Thank u for this splendid product. Makes cooking %26 clean up a breeze!

Love the organizer! Seems like it even holds more flatware than my old one.

This is the worst skillet I have ever used!!!! After a few months, the surface is no longer non-stick--scrambled eggs and everything else has to be scraped off. The worst problem is that the inside cooking surface is curved, like a dome. The center of the pan is higher than the edges so all the cooking oils, the sauces, the juices collect in a rim around the edges of the pan. The center is left high and dry. Do not waste your money!!!

Beautiful %26 Easy!

I’m all about making life easy and this pan is a non stick wonder, easily makes omelets easy to turn and no mess clean up, simply let cool and rinse and wipe clean.

Think twice before buying this.

Great multi use skillet

I've been a total die-hard Revere Ware user, wouldn't look at anything else, then I ordered this skillet, mostly because I needed something bigger with a lid. I love this skillet, it is BIG, cookes evenly, cleans up with little effort and I use it at lest 3 or 4 times a week. It's heavy, but not hard to lift, even with food in it. I've decided to buy a smaller one for scrambling eggs in also. I have trying to clean eggs out of a pan, will probably also double as a crepe pan! This is an extremely well mad, excellent quality pan, with a thick glass lid that fits well and I recommend it highly!

This pan looks great in the kitchen. I have had it for a year or more and have used it quite a bit. It lives up to most of the hype. It is non stick, you don't need oil (unless you want too), and best of all, very easy to clean! The reason I gave it only a 3 star is bc it does scratch. The scratches haven't gone all the way through like some ol Teflon pans do, but after a year they are there. I was under the impression it is not suppose to scratch.

Gotham Hammmered Copper Pans

So delighted with this product! These frying pans completed my set. The hammered copper is absolutely lovely. They live up to the promise of no stick cooking and easy cleaning. I do not put them in the dishwasher. So far only drawback is lid and pot handles get rather hot. Remember to use hotpad to grab them!

Takes a cooking and still new looking!

I have the loviest, soft-spoken, gentle wife who literally tries to shoo flies outside rather than swat them... saintly springs to mind when I think about her... except... Well, for some inexplicable reason she can demolish a frying pan in short order be it diamond coated or kryptonite forged. Its just what happens to frying pans under her tender touch. 12 months ago I got her a 12 Gotham Steel Hammered Frying pan and I am delighted to report that after 12 months of fairly regular use it looks brand new! Given this, her request for a 10 Gotham Steel pan was a no brainer - these are incredible products and bound to be the go to pan in any kitchen fortunate enough to possess one... or even the whole set :-)

This frying pan was sent to me after the first pan of its kind didn’t hold up to it’s claim. I didn’t even use a metal scrubber, yet the copper coating came off exposing some sort of grey surface after using a soft scrubber and TOTALLY loss the non-stick element on the ENTIRE surface of the pan, even though it was only a small area in which the copper came off. I called, uploaded pictures to Wayfair as requested and was immediately sent a replacement, with them stating this one must’ve been a manufacturer defect and basically “I pulled the short straw”. Fair enough - that can happen. Second pan arrived and immediately noticed that same grey-ish material exposed just above the two rivets on the inside of pan, which lead me to suspect that I was sent a refurbished pan. Since that area wasn’t on the cooking surface, I decided to keep the pan as I really needed to use it at the time, but after two weeks, I wish I chose another brand altogether because the nonstick feature on this one TOTALLY “evaporated” and this time I didn’t even scrub it. I became seriously ill right after that experience with the pan (nothing to do with the pan) and was so for a while, leaving me in no position to call and request a returnrefund etc. By the time I was better, I felt it was too late to call and request Wayfair to do something about the pan. My advice - DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND because you will be disappointed!!!

Beautiful non-toxic pan with a 2.5" depth

I just got this pan delivered and I'm already in love! I love Gotham Steel cookware, I have some other pieces, the non-stick coating is just amazing and the riveted handles on the pan as well as the lid are great. I rarely like having plastic knobs with screws on glass lids so a glass lid with a metal handle that's riveted to the glass like the Gotham Steel cookware is a great feature. This is a deep pan at about 2.5" deep and the textured copper exterior is so beautiful. You definitely can't go wrong at this price point for a great frypan like this that's non-toxic. I highly recommend Gotham Steel Ti-Cerama cookware!

Burned child from water that traps in handle

Beware that water traps in the gotham pan handles. Both my pans have a small slit in the handle that traps water inside. That water heats when cooking. Unknowingly went to tilt the pan to slide a pancake onto my 6 year old's plate and scalding water spills onto my hand and her arm, burning us both. If she had been standing more under me, that water would have BURNED her FACE!! I had to inspect the pan to see where the water came from. Very dangerous design and would like to be emailed/contacted from the manufacturer. Have searched for an email to contact them but only see a phone number that puts people on hold for forever.
