Poor quality

This product lasted about 6 months then no longer worked. Attempted to contact the company to help with the repair. After many months of attempting to contact they got back to me after my warranty was over. I don’t recommend for the price and longevity of the product.

Improperly assembled

Warning!! Examine item you receive. What I received and what is on display at my local Target is not what appears on the box and photos. Heat escapes due to the fact that the doors were not installed correctly or they are for a smaller oven model. There are big gaps above and between the doors on the item received. Look at the product photos. No exposed hinges and no gaps. Food requires a long time and higher heat to cook because of doors. The small fan is inefficient, and the power of 1700 is inadequate. I showed the floor manager where the discrepancies are on the floor model and what is on the box. False advertisement. Return your oven if it has gaps and exposed hinges. Heat escapes between the doors, causing the handles to become hot.

My Poor Hands

It’s seriously impossible not to burn yourself. It looks nice, but has already had a patina above the doors. It cooks food well, and has a lot of different settings, but the design of the doors makes this thing terrible. I’ve had it for about 5 months and wish I had bought a different one. Don’t do it.

I really love mine

I use mine frequently. I use the bake function instead of using my regular oven. I reheat things with the air fryer function. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because of the cumbersome doors and the heat outside of the air fryer. I just have to be really careful when using it.

Eay too hot!

Have it 3 stars because it does work but like mentioned in countless reviews it will burn you! No matter how careful you are, you will get burned one way or the other. Yes the doors slam shut and both of the button settings are faulty, I have to just turn until it gets to the setting I want. I would not recommend buying it because it’s dangerous. Oh, and it gets so hot it cuts off sometimes, I suggest waiting until it’s cool between uses.

Do not reccomend

It kept turning on by itself kept restarting and reheating when no one touched it. I had to pull the plug out of the socket. Which sparked. I do not recommend this item. Cheaply made and from my personal experience obviously not safe

Error Code Sometimes-Won't Work

I like the large size of this oven. You can cook a variety of items in it rather than heat up the large oven. What I found very inconvenient is at times when I turn it on…the oven shows an error code & will not work. I looked up the issue & found out that other customers were having the same issue. The manufacturer is aware of this glitch. Reddit was more helpful to me. One person in particular said they ran a blow dryer around the oven’s dial/display & it worked. He was right-it worked! It has happened to me about four times. It’s extremely annoying.

Dont do it, hot outside, buttons break after 3-6months

The gap in the doors leak the heat and the outside doors get super hot along with the top and bottom of handles. The doors slam closed and when they are hot burn you. The dial after 3-6months stopped turning correctly and the buttons completely cracked and fell into the air fryer from the heat while cooking something! Reached out to the company and because I don’t have the receipt (it was a gift from my husband so he didn’t use the app) there is nothing they will do even though it’s a faulty product. Won’t be buying this brand again!

Dont waste your money on this

Very faulty, the heat leaks through the doors, the entire airfryer gets as hot as the inside on the outside. The buttons no longer correspond with the dial when choosing temperatures or settings. The pans all turn black and burned and never ever recover. There is literally no amount of cleaning to get the black out. I reached out to gourmia and they sent a replacement pan but that one also turned black, even with pan liners

Don't Do It

It doesn’t really work well as an air fryer. It’s fine for baking things and I like the toaster oven feature, but beyond that, performance is majorly lacking. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking to air fry anything. And as others have said, the spring loaded doors are quite dangerous.

Huge disappointment

This is my first air fryer and it has been a huge disappointment. I bought it primarily for the air fryer function but I have found that it is no different than baking in my oven. I have experimented with different temperatures and cooking times, but nothing makes a difference. In fact, I have found I have to cook longer and at higher temperatures than stated in the Users Manual and food packaging. I would not purchase this again.

Do NOT buy! Or get Burned.

Very dangerous product. Doors get too hot and are spring loaded to close if they're not fully open more than 90°. Do NOT buy if you have children (I don't but I have burned myself multiple times). The pre-heat also takes forever and I don't believe the internal temperature stays at what the oven is set to. The fan on this is insanely loud, often covers the beep of the food being done. It also stays on for a long time after food is done and the machine is off to "cool down". It can sometimes still be on after I've finished the food I cooked. But really the worst part is that it's got a high potential for burning you. I can easily see something bumping the door even a little while grabbing food out and it closing on the wrist giving serious 2nd or 3rd degree burns.

Smokes up the entire house.

I was very excited for this air fryer but it fell short in so many aspects. Most notably the fact that it smokes up the entire house. Smoke literally billows out of the front. This air fryer gets EXTREMELY hot on the outside on all sides.. nearly 150 degrees Also, there is no way to turn off the high pitched beep it makes every time you choose a setting or turn the knob. You cannot leave it plugged in as the fans turns on automatically and will not turn off meaning the appliance is constantly running while plugged. Wish I didn’t throw the box away or I would return it

Favorite Air Fryer/Oven so far!

Perfect size for my family! I love how the double door open extra wide. It is very easy to use. It temp is also very accurate compared to other airfryer/toaster oven combos we have had. 350 is REALLY 350 and 425 is REALLY 425! The preset options are great especially for my kids.

My first air fryer

I purchased it a few days ago after researching several options. So far I have made a frozen pizza and french fries, which turned out great. I like the 14 different cooking functions, multiple trays, five rack positions, digital display, and perfect size. Yes, it does get hot including the sides and glass doors (the handles stay cool). I would be careful letting small children near it, but that’s common sense with any kitchen appliance. This is my first air fryer (replaced a convection toaster oven) so I’m excited to try other food/recipes. It also comes with clear instructions and a recipe book. I am storing it on a stainless steel shelving unit with my other small appliances, so it’s off the counter and has plenty of air/heat circulation. It requires 4 inches of space on the sides, top, and back. Several people have commented about the single-pull french doors which swing open and closed. I actually prefer these type of doors compared to the pull down door of other air fryers/toaster ovens, which always get dirty and are hard to clean. The trays are also dishwasher safe.

Poor exacution on door

So far the oven over all is working great, looks very nice, my main concerns are the doors, the get super hot, of course the handles do not, they also have a spring hinge, which needs to be fully opened or they will snap closed. I will be returning this one. Between the hot and spring loaded door, already have had some food spills where the door closed up and in turn caused some minor burns.

I like it

There are two things that I’m not happy about but the oven works perfectly. Number one the oven door on the front doors does not stay open on the left side. There’s no place to tighten it so you have to be careful you don’t get burned. The other issue I have is the flat pan. I cover it every time and it’s still turned all brownish like it was burned on And I take good care of things, so this should not have happened being that it was covered every single time with foil or parchment paper

Turning wheel stopped working

I purchased this about a year ago and the wheel that turns to select the options already stopped working. I notice many electronics that use this kind of system with a turning wheel end up having the same issue. It moves as it pleases not when you turn it to. Warranty is out of course and so far the manufacturer has told me to mail it to them which costs $100 so they can fix it for another charge of $60. So its basically cheaper to buy a new one. Also, as other people have mentioned, the door burns you pretty bad, its not a good design.

Buyer Beware

I bought this one after my Instant Pot Vortex gave out. I figured the double doors would make it easier to clean and the size was better. WRONG. I’ve burned myself so many times with the slamming doors. The air fryer feature doesn’t not work nearly as well as my previous one. Since the heating elements are exposed, any juices or grease that land on them cause so much smoke and even flames. The only positives I’ve found is the size, and that I can use it as a place to proof dough.

Torn: I Love It, But........

I love this convection oven. It's so much better than the ones we've had before. Great features. Good space. Excellent when I don't want to heat my regular-sized gas oven. That said, I have two complaints: 1. You have to make sure you open the doors ALL THE WAY, or they will swing back to burn you. 2. It broke after just one year of use. It's stuck on an error message. I did email the company, and their response will determine if I'll continue to buy their products. It's also worth noting that the back gets hot, so you don't want it pressed against the power cord, or the cord will start to melt. More of a user error than anything.
