[Rewarded Review] LG induction oven - worth every penny

I had glass cooktops for decdes, loved them and didnt realise induction was different. I never had induction before so its a learning curve, but I love how fast it heats up and cools down. Still adjusting to the new paradime but i love it so far. Going to try the proofing settings for bread making next. I now have all LG appliances and couldnt live with out each of them. The oven is easy to clean, easy to use. Since induction works using magnets, you have to have magnetic pots and pans to use it. I have all cast iron and stainless steal so it wasnt a problem. But be aware of this before you buy it.

[Rewarded Review] So far. Great!

My previous LG induction range was an earlier version. I was really disappointed that the oven fan stopped working after 4 years. I was reluctant to to consider another LG. After much consideration I decided that the LG offered me the best deal and features. I was expecting the pretty much the same range like my previous one. The improvements made to my new LG have made me very happy with my purchase. LG fixed many of the design features that I thought needed improving! I hope this one lasts longer than my previous range, but as of now I am pleased with my new range.

Beautiful induction range! Had it 3 weeks. It bakes evenly, the power boost is amazing- boils water quicker than any electric or gas range! Everything works well and there were no surprises! Love the features of convection baking and air frying- the only negative is getting used to the 6 large dials that are positioned just about hip/abdomen level and any leaning will push in the dial which beeps and could potentially turn on a burner IF a pan was on the burner. Still love the range and no regrets buying it!!

Missing accessories package

Range arrived on time, unboxed, discovered all 7 accessories were missing (probably a box that should have been in the oven). Called LG, they said call HD. Called HD, got transferred to major appliances, and spent over an hour while they waited on LG to answer. While waiting I went online to LG, registered product and found live chat which answered fairly promptly and after providing details accessory kit is being shipped but 7 to 10 days until it arrives so I can't use oven or air fry.

After TWO ranges (first one was a lemon but called within 48 hours and Home Depot sent a replacement), I can confidently say this is a good purchase. The range is gorgeous but the learning curve for induction is real so be prepared for a different cooking experience. A few things to note:

Induction cooking is an entirely new experience and there is a bit of a learning curve, but I love this range! The oven heats up very fast and it's nice to have both convection and regular bake settings. I've only had it for 6 weeks, so I haven't tried the steam clean setting yet, but plan to use it this weekend. And I want to try the Air sous-vide feature soon too. The cook top settings also heat at a different rate than my smooth-top electric stove did, but I am getting used to that. The boost setting for fast heating (like boiling water) is great.

Incredible upgrade from electric glass top range

Absolutely love how fast stove top heats (and cools). Medium on this cooktop heats faster and gets hotter than med high on my old glass top jennair. I had to replace my copper clad cookware, but well worth it. Oven works great. The air fry mode is not as fast as a countertop, but the additional size makes it much more even.

[Rewarded Review] Loaded with features

This is a beautiful appliance. We were looking for an induction range with specific features and this has it and then some. We have bake, convection bake, convection roast, air fry, sous vide etc. We particularly love the air fryer feature. Food comes out so crispy. We purchased induction safe cookware. Make sure you put the right sized pot on the correct burner for best heating. It takes about 5-7 minutes to boil water. Faster than my prior gas range. It has easy clean which saves you from going through the whole self clean cycle. It’s also simple to wipe down inside and out. It has 5 burners 1 is for keeping things warm. Ala and all a wonderful addition to our kitchen,

[Rewarded Review] Best oven I ever had!!

This 30 inch 6..3 cubic feet stainless steel SMART induction range with WiFi enable and air fryer is phenomenal!! I have never cooked or baked in an oven as gorgeous and functional as this one! The induction function does require that pots and pans used on the cooktop must be induction grade. I had old pans anyway from 15 years ago from my gas range so I had fun purchasing beautiful new pans at no more cost than regular ones. It cooks very fasr and efficently. My baked bread in the oven came out perfect and baked in less time as well as my stovetop cooking. The cooktop is really easy to keep clean and the induction function does not make the cooktop hot, which is a huge safety issue if you have children! The energy efficiency is also a huge plus. I would highly recommend this beatiful oven. You will not be disappointed!!

[Rewarded Review] Elevating your Culinary Pursuits with the LG Induction Stove

The 30” energy efficient print proof Elements Slide-In Induction Range with InstaView and Air Fry in Print Proof Stainless Steel is a sweet as they come. The finish is consistent and has a great look. The inside of the oven is a unique tone of blue. The knobs are larger than expected but I have gotten used to them and like them better than the smaller knobs this cooktop is unique in the way that the surface stays cool until the pot and or pan is placed on the burner. Induction cooking simply uses electromagnetic energy instead of those electric heating coils. This is resulting in a more efficient way of cooking.

[Rewarded Review] We're Cookin' with... Induction!

We've been looking for a replacement to our high end name brand dual fuel range (gas range, electric oven) for a while, and when we saw this LG electric induction range we knew we had found the range for change!

[Rewarded Review] Huge, Versatile, Quick Induction Range with Convection Oven that includes air fryer AND air sous vide

This range checked all the boxes for me. It has four induction elements plus a low-power "warming zone" meant for things like melting chocolate. The oven is gigantic and supports regular baking and broiling as well as convection baking, air frying mode and air sous vide mode (low temps for long times). It fit perfectly in the 30 inch opening left from my last range. It can be set up with a three prong or four prong plug - we have four prong, so did it that way. The inside was a bit of a surprise - it is a very charming indigo blue enamel! The interior light is very bright and makes seeing inside easy. The range can also be used with the LG app called LG ThinQ. It was a bit of pain to set up at first until I read somewhere to restart the app if its not setting up and that did the trick - guess it needed to reset something in memory. Once you connect the app, it will share notifications with you - you will get a notification when the oven has warmed up the set point or when the timer is going off. You can also start the oven from the app, but it requires an extra step - I guess that is for safety - you have to set the oven control knob to remote. If the oven is set to off, you can't start it from the app. You can definitely see if any of the burners or the oven is on in the app, and it says it can update the firmware from the app. I have not needed to do that yet. The cooktop has a light bar in front of each burner that shows you what level it is on (the knob is also marked) - this is a very handy feature if you sometime turn on the wrong burner... Installation is super easy. Since ovens have gotten a little lighter over the years, there is a small risk someone could tip it over by stepping on the open door (why would you do that!!). To prevent an accident, the range comes with a special anti-tip mounting bracket that you need to mount in the back that locks in one (either one) of the rear feet to keep it from tipping. the bracket is included - make sure you install it! Very happy with this range already - made a pizza using the convection mode and it came out great. I did discover one little weirdness about the convection bake mode that is not well documented - if you set it 400F in convection bake mode, it will actually set the oven to 375F and then beep to tell you its ready when it reaches 375F. If you actually want 400F, you have to set it to 425F... this is a feature and not a bug!!! I tried setting it a dozen times, checked the manual, and finally figure out it was doing this on purpose. So, you've been warned! I was surprised it comes with two racks (my old range had three) so I will look into purchasing a spare as its useful when making a big dinner to be able to load 3 sheet pans at the same time.

[Rewarded Review] Fast cooktop, no problems encountered, many features.

This slide-in over literally slid into place and could be plugged in. The installers brought a 3-pin power cable, attached it and carried it inside and set the clock. Done.
