The gas ovens stopped working.

After owning this gas range/dual gas ovens for 1.5 years both of the ovens stopped working. The appliance service person we had to pay to come look at it said it’s not an ignition problem either. He tried to get the oven to preheat but it’s dead. He suggested that maybe it’s the computer panels and that all three of them would have to be replaced because there’s no way to tell which one it is. He said that would be about $1000 to replace them. So after a year and a half of paying $2700 for an oven I have to pay another thousand dollars to get it to run again? of course the company will do nothing about it because it’s past the 1 year warranty. I do not suggest anyone gets this range model.

This oven has everything I was looking for, plus extra features that have been so handy. From the high powered burners, to the oven probe, to the remote preheat, I just love this oven. I have found the oven and stovetop easy to clean, and the app reminds you when to do it, which is also helpful. The oven heats evenly and the lower oven is large enough for anything I can imagine wanting to cook. I have wanted a double oven for a long time, and the convenience has lived up to my expectations!

We purchased the LG - 6.9 Cu. Ft. Slide-In Double Oven Gas True Convection Range with EasyClean and InstaView - Stainless Steel to replace a similar but much older unit. The 'no back' control feature makes a great looking stove. The burners work well and the front right dual burner is great. We've used the upper and lower ovens and they cook evenly with great results. Would buy again.

Overall I love this oven. The different burner strengths are useful, and it looks nice, especially the blue interior and lighted dials. It’s easy to clean. The double oven is essential for us and originally worked great.

Very nice double oven range. It has so many options thought I’d be overwhelmed but actually I like them and its smart features ..that can be connected to your phone by the LG app. Like the oven options like air fry, sous vide, warming and so much more. Like how the knobs light up and like the knock knock doors. Haven’t used the cast iron griddle yet. We remove it when using the other burners. We’ll see how this range treats us in the months to come.

[Rewarded Review] Great range, worth the price

I received this range two days before Christmas and I have zero complaints! I definitely recommend to anyone who has limited kitchen space, but wants the ability to have two ovens, so you can cook dishes at different temperatures at the same time. In prior homes I have had a double wall unit oven which ofcourse is larger, but this works just as well.

[Rewarded Review] Good LG slide-in

Bought this after kitchen remodel and this slide-in version is so much better-looking than the previous LG double-oven model we had that was freestanding with the tall back. Not too many available slide-in models out there that have a double oven so I’m glad that LG had something to fit the bill on what we needed. Burners are great…strong and even flames. The ultra burner is very strong, so great for boiling water for pasta, etc. I like that it has the center griddle, however it’s on the slim side so I still prefer to use my own double-griddle. The kids really like the “knock on glass” feature to turn the oven lights on. Only issue I have has to do with the control knob that you need to toggle to turn on certain features on the oven. It doesn’t line up straight up/down like the knobs on the burners do, so it looks a little funky. It cants to the left (see photo). I’ve yet to use the air fry feature, but it’s great that it comes with the mesh tray for air frying. The grates need to be cleaned using a cloth rather than paper towels (otherwise, it’ll look messy with lint). Other than that, it’s been good…we’ve been using it for about three months now.

[Rewarded Review] Fantastic range with all of the tech.

We didn’t really NEED a new range but we wanted a double oven and an upgrade from the Samsung range that was in our house when we bought it. This thing absolutely delivered on everything we were looking for. It preheats so quickly and the 22,000BTU burner boils a pot of water so quickly. Air fry worked great and can’t wait to try out the air sous vide option. We added a mid level LG microwave to our order and the two connect together via WiFi so when you turn on the stove, the microwave automatically turns on the vent above. Amazing piece of appliance at the price point and it’s beautiful too.

Beautiful range but parts are very cheap. Was changing out the orifices for LP (propane) from natural gas and the upper oven nozzle broke. Then changing the stove top orifices the power burner orifice won't come out. Called LG for oven part and they have sent me 2 wrong parts so far. Still waiting for the 3rd part. Brand new stove 3 weeks ago and still haven't been able to use it. LP (propane) should be an option and done in the warehouse instead of taking a whole stove apart to change orifices.

Love our two in one and everything gas range! The griddle on the top is thin and manageable for the two of us. It is a little intrusive, so we remove it while using the top burners. So far we have used both and only the top portions of the oven. We did run into a little issue when we tried to re-heat the Honey Baked Ham - it almost didn't make it this Thanksgiving, and it did! So far so good!!! It does make some lovely sounds, trying to figure out the bluetooth capabilities and how to get it to "EasyClean" - is it both or just one or the other? We will come back to revise the review if anything changes!

worked as it should

Got delivered by HD on schedule. I am on LP, so they would not install it. The conversion took some time, as it required the swap of 9 orifices. But with a little mechanical knowledge, it was not difficult, just timely. Calibration of the ovens' temperatures were required. I first calibrated them while they were both on, them double checked them independently. This is a crucial step because both DID need adjustment. After the 1-hour burn off, we started on Thanksgiving dinner. In the bottom oven we cooked a 16 lbs turkey and a ham. In the upper oven we doubled up the racks and heated 5 casserole dishes. Initially I was skeptical on how this oven would perform. However, after making the initial calibrations, it worked flawlessly. I am very pleased with the purchase. Plus, we linked it through the LG application to our microwave, and the bonus features worked as advertised.

Don’t Think About This.. BUY IT!!

It functions EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED.. it’s hard to say that about appliances these days but I am overwhelmed with joy and happiness with this purchase. I absolutely love all its functions and how it effectively heats or cook food. Especially the fact that it has a built in AIR FRYER!! the two oven operates independently from each other but What really.. really.. sold me was the remote features. I can control it by my phone, wow!! I can monitor it, stop it, start it or know when it’s being used all by my phone.. WOW!! I’m so happy to have invested in the LG ThinQ line, I have the microwave & dishwasher too. It’s certainly worth the investment 10000 times over. Buy it!! It won’t be a regret.

[Rewarded Review] LG technology, luxury and simply amazing!!!

After considering several different makes and models, we decided on this LG Range and couldn’t be happier. A friend of ours had purchased the same model a few months back and has been very pleased so that kind of made us lean towards LG. We added a hood fan after removing the microwave that had a fan in it, (worthless), and the new look is awesome. Over all, we would give this unit a solid “10”. Highly recommend. The only negative I will express is the same unit went on sale at Best Buy, where we purchased it along with a new 75” smart tv and a LG Dishwasher, spent over $5500 in less then two weeks and because we saw the sale for $200 less on the range apparently two days after the exchange period expires (15 days), they would not honor the price guarantee. Love everything else about our experience at Best Buy, Just a bit of bad taste.
