I sura am glad i bought one of these. Makes crushing things up so much faster I cant imagine living without one. I use it daily!

Better than the marble mortar and pestle I have. Has some nice grooves to provide good texture to whatever you are mixing or grinding inside this.

This is a quite large and heavy duty mortar and pestle set. It can crush a lot at once. It is also a bit heavy. A little too large for my home. But it will make a great gift.

Whenever I need to grind up some spices or crush up garlic, I reach for my granite mortar and pestle set. This heavy duty set is perfect for the job! I was especially pleased with the low price for such a quality, decorative set!

This mortar and pestle is AMAZING. The size is perfect (just big enough told a lemon, or small apple) and completely pulverizes whever you grind in it!

This mortar and pestle set has been excellent for us. We crush herbs, make meat rubs, and pulverize spices that have absorbed too much humidity and become clumped together. It is a very solid, well formed unit, and works well for us.

An excellent little piece of equipment! At first I thought 5" was too small but was I wrong. This mortar and pestle can actually hold a generous amount of ingredients. I use it to pulvarise my cocoa beans and it does a great job.

The Granite Mortar and Pestle is shorter and wider than most other ones this size. That makes it easier to see what you are grinding.

when I bought it I thought 5 inches may be all I need but turns out it is great to have but also grinds good amount of rock salt with spices at the same time.. The price is good and shipping was not so bad making it affordable for me. I am glad to have purchased this.

Perfect size for muddling herbs and spices. Great for making pesto and other spice combinations. Made of a good heavy granite material that will last forever.

This is an excellent small mortar and pestle set! Great for grinding freshly toasted spices and blending herbs into a paste! Good for fresh dry rubs and herb blends for roasting meats!

Great mortar and pestle for home use. I have used it a couple times to grind up some dried whole spices and it does it in a cinch. The weight of the mortar is really good. You may have to support the base depending how vigorously you are grinding but i don't think it will be an issue for most. My only complaint is the pestle they sent me wasn't rounded very well but i assume after some time it will even out.
