This heater works good. It has a buzz noise so seems louder than we thought it would be. It heats our shop as expected.
Good product worked well on high heat but when is switched to eco mode would only blow air with no heat. After studying the wire schematics found that during the assembly of the heater it had been wired incorrectly. After wiring correctly heater works great. Tried to call for King Electric for technical support but like usual in today world with corporate American I was put on hold. Eventually hung up the phone and figured out the problem on my own. At least there was a wiring schematics on the lower panel cover to aid me in figuring out why the heater did not work on Eco mode.
The one I received had been used and damaged and I’ve re-ordered another one and will be taking this one back to the store once the new one arrives. Not happy Home Depot would charge full price for a product that wasn’t brand new. But I know Home Depot has a good return policy so there’s no issue there.
yes
REMOTE DID NOT WORK AND RECEIVED A NEW ONE (IT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL REMOTE) AND IT IS (SO FAR) WORKING FINE.
The ability to use your own thermostat Wi-Fi makes it an incredible feature.
Yes
Unit was great, unfortunately when I built my shop I didn't realize that a heater of this capacity needs a 60amp line to accommodate it, learned a lot and had to go with a 30 amp unit instead, I know this product would have been the bomb
The unit works great but it arrived with damage, and the ground terminal screw was rolling around in the bottom of the box - I found it by chance before throwing the packaging away. The wiring instructions and labeling for installing a separate thermostat were essentially non-existent. Stickers intended to label the terminals were peeling off.
I would buy this product again. Actually I did....
I bought this heater to heat a large 3 car garage with work shop. I already knew that it would work fine because I had the same heater(different model #)in my last garage for over 10years and it never skipped a beat during our cold Wisconsin winters. So when I moved recently I right away ordered another on. Works great if I want to use the garage as a work shop in the dead of winter it heats up quickly and when not In use I turn it down just enough to melt all the snow and ice off the vehicles.
Remote control is not very useful
The remote control is weak. Have to stand directly in front of the unit and be within two feet to operate.
Very happy with this heater - so far. The install was pretty easy. Based on my testing, it starts pumping out the heat really quickly. It is a little louder than I anticipated, but if that is my biggest issue - I will be very happy. The real test will come this winter... ??

FedEx communication not correct.
Item came. very quickly. However, needed to return because home already had a heater. Return has not happened because FedEx does not read QR code and will will not pick up at FedEx pickup station???
Pleased with its performance
Purchased a Fahrenheat FUH54 for $280. It lasted for 3 years. Then the thermostat broke -- the heater went into continuous mode. The Heater got very hot and could have conceivably started a fire. Purchased the King KB ECO2S and am confident it is designed for safety. Pleased with its performance. You get what you pay for!
You stay with your customers. Install was easy, but King unit was in Fahrenheit which Canada does not use

Installation was fairly straight forward. Documentation was not as thorough as I would have expected, had to go online to find the error codes. It works great and once you figure out the best place to put the remote sensor it does the job well.

Heater did not work two weeks out of the box, element heated up but fan wouldn't come on. Overheating safety shut off after flooding the area with a nasty smoke. King tech diagnosed, then over a two month time sent the same wrong part FIVE times. Unit was returned to HD. I do not recommend.
Highly recommend this heater. US made and great quality.
US made product. Support and replacement parts are easy to get. Runs great! Would buy again for another shop.

After reading everything I could on electric heaters for my garage the king heaters where the best pick. this thing really does the job in my Xlarge garage its sized just right per their web site the only thing I think is a little cheap is the remote sensor, but it works I thought this would be an issue, but I was wrong. after tweaking this I will probably install a wired thermostat which you can do if you like with unit or I'll just screw the sensor to the wall with the remote-control unit is has.
