Did not need. The sales person told me I needed it.. but I didn’t waste the time and money because they should’ve been knowledgeable about their products.

Perfect for off grid camping!

We went hunting and wanted just a little glamp in our camp, so purchased air mattresses but needed an air pump. The Ozark Trail Sidewinder Air Pump had all the perks we were looking for. We bought extra batteries, as though types of items tend to use a lot of battery. We were pleasantly surprised, camped for 2 weeks. We had 2 mattresses, but ended up filling a total of 3(the plug popped out); and never had to change the batteries. We were in the woods where it's really quiet, it sounded really loud, but knowing this would say it was relatively quiet while running; like a humm. I would definitely buy this product again.

The pump itself was fine, however the box was opened when I pulled it out of the packaging and no valve adaptors when in the box.

Don’t but this for pool rafts!

It doesn’t have the proper tip for pool rafts as it stated. It also takes %2610.00 worth of huge D batteries. It ends up being super heavy.

This is a traditional pump, nothing special about it. Does it work, yes, but it wasn’t as cool as the lighter one I received. I wouldn’t recommend it over that one.

Sometimes it stops working and I must open the battery pack to adjust battery positioning to make it work again. Also the nozzle is slippery, so I must hold it flush with the thing I am inflating (an inflatable mattress), and that adds a challenge. I would happily trade it for one that plugs into a vehicle outlet instead of using batteries.

Second one I’ve purchased and neither has worked straight from the box. Tried multiple batteries of different brands.

loved it. works fast. blew up my pool fast. no more pump. would buy again. plus the price and ive always bought a lot of ozark products. great products at lower cost.

It worked out well for me to work with my swimming pool floats.

Takes 4 D batteries and isn’t very strong
