I have a two stage evaporative cooler that is controlled by very old non smart control board and thermostat combination. It however works well. But, I wanted to connect my evaporative cooler to 3rd gen nest learning thermostat for obvious benefits. After doing lot of online research, this control board seemed to be the one that fits my needs. The control board provided RWYG outputs. However, I connected them in the following fashion:

I bought this 15 years ago an it started to act up. So I bought this unit and just love it. before you could only set it to cool an you hand to turn it off once it was cool enough. Now this unit will let you set a lever an it will keep working till it gets to your setting. Then shut down an wait for the house to warm back up with no intervention by me! Like the new unit it uses a contact to switch on an off, instead of a mercury float switch.

Great product for evaporative cooler but it is tricky to work with ac thermostats. Update: do not connect an ac thermostat to this product if you only want one fan speed. Just stick to the thermostat provided with the product. So far this product has worked well.

Nice to install, uses all low voltage wiring between the Thermostats and the Cooler. A bit concerned about the Plastic box and whether or not it can really deal with the elements like Hail and such. But this kit made wiring and installing thermostats in our new house very easy. The 110/220 High voltage wiring was only between our Main electrical panel and the Coolers.

Exact Replacement for my Defective Unit.

I have never had a complaint from a customer, and now that the motor relay has been improved (it was weak) I am even more pleased. Many people here in AZ prefer to use a swamp cooler in the moderate months of the year not only for cost reasons, but for overall comfort, and this product fills the bill.
