Oreo loves his new house so much and he needed a bigger space considering he was in a large rabbit cage instead cuz I can't let the free roam considering I have six bunnies one bonded pair four single buns and I live with small apartment Oreo along with his siblings gets lots of free room time but they can't free them 24/7 so he loves his new Hutch and Oreo says thank you so much

I like the dividing door, but bunnies are smart and have learned how to open it. I ended up with an unplanned pregnancy due to this lol

Good for small animals

The hutch is very cute and easy to move around. It was easy to assemble. The different sections are nice so they can be in or out. However I would recommend for a guinea pig sized animal or non chewer. My rabbit destroyed it in less then a week. The wood is very light weight.

Perfect fit

I purchased this as an outdoor duck house for two young ducks. It suits them well and is sufficient in size. It’s very nice and having the bottom elevated off the floor allows for easy clean and follow through for droppings. It’s light to lift yet sturdy and heavy enough for the outdoor elements. Definitely recommend as a small retreat for your pets.

rabbit owner advice

As a rabbit owner, I would just like to say if you are a new rabbit owner don’t get these type of cages you want to try and build it it’s own little pen not a cage because it needs a lot of room to run around unless you plan on taking it out of the cage every single day without fail.

Check the measurements

Pretty small for 2 dwarf bunnies and cheaply made bunnies are it up in two weeks..

Love the design and fits great under window wall as well as easy to assemble. Dividers are not the most sturdy wood however and bunnies already chewing through thin plywood dividers and openings to the ends. We’ve had about a month.

Smaller than it says

This hutch is considerably smaller than it says it is and took a week longer to get to than Chewy said it would. I wouldn't use this for anything bigger than a rat.

THE WASTE TRAY

The waste tray has a flat lip around the edge that the bunnies (in our case) can spray on. With that lip being flat, and not angled down, the urine easily and consistently spills on the floor, making it a hassle to clean up inside the house. That waste tray needs to be redesigned and rethought, maybe the cage needs to be a tad bit more narrow (or tray wider, or a combination of them both) so that, even with the splash panel, it will land where it is designed to land.

Do not waste your money

This is very thin and cheaply made definitely not worth the money for almost 300 you would expect something of good quality not something thinner then a ruler in wood width super disappointing

Quality

The wood is very thin and easily split. For the price of the of the hutch, I expected better quality. It was easy to put together and all the parts were there. I do love that it has two sides and a door in the middle.

Not very good workmanship

This is my second cage as I had to send the other one back because some of the parts fell apart when installing. For the money I paid not very good workmanship. The second cage also had problems but my poor bunny needed a cage so I am repairing it as I didn't want the hassle of sending it back again.

These are as cute as a button but

They are not weather proof. Rain pours in through the top, leading to a soaking wet pet not protected at all from the rain.

aesthetically pleasing, poor quality

This hutch is cute but that’s where pretty much all it’s got going. Several of the panels arrived already chipped. The listing says screwdriver only for assembly but this item recommends a drill and two people, there were only pre drilled holes on the outside of some pieces and when assembling the wood split in spots where there were pre drilled holes. My biggest cause of concern though is this is supposed to be a water proof asphalt roof because this is an outdoor hutch but chunks of the roof were missing and loose in the box. Through out assembly, pieces of the roof were falling off like excess glitter on a craft project at the lightest touch. We planned to use this indoors for our rabbit but with surface pieces of wood already splintered and the roof practically disintegrating I’m concerned for his safety. Absolutely not worth $70, contacted support for a resolution
