Pans Not Built to Last

This set was gifted to our family for Christmas and we were excited about switching to a non toxic option in cookware. Unfortunately, these pans do not hold up to everyday use well. The inside of the pots easily scratch (even with using wood or plastic utensils) and the rims chip. It is also easy to stain these pans while cooking and residue can be left behind even after washing well. While I anticipated having to be careful while using this type of pan I was not expecting them to be so delicate. I would not recommend these pans for someone who cooks on a regular basis.

The Omelette and Frittata Go-To

The Valencia Pro Nonstick Pans are my favorites for making omelettes and frittatas. I bought them expressly for making my favorite egg dishes that I want to cook evenly, brown, and slide out of the pan effortlessly. I used the 10” pan for a five-egg frittata, and I was able to get the results I was looking for—even cooking. I followed the directions to a tee and preheated the pan for 90 seconds before adding butter or oil. The egg sizzled slightly and developed the perfect “crust” that I was looking for. The clear lid gave me a perfect view of the omelette, to watch the pan do its magic. The pan set was great value, washes beautifully, and will bring me many years of enjoyment.

Worth It

These pans are a great improvement over teflon or other nonstick pans I have owned. Eggs easily slide in the pan. I got the 8", 9.5", and 11" frying pans.

As easy to use as they are to clean...

A finally replaced my old, worn & scarred nonstick cookware after more than a few years. It's really a matter of health. These ceramic-lined pans are safe, thick, and they cook more evenly on my range than I thought possible. They're induction compatible as well, which means they will be at home on my NEW range, too. Happy days! So grateful for riveted handles; I can retire the screwdriver from by utensil drawer. The lid tops do get hot, so I dug out some pot-holders. Fortunately, the handles remain cool during cooktop use. They are slower to heat-up and cool-down, which is to be expected. The grill-like 11” grill-pan is my favorite so far. Chicken is juicier from having less meat in contact with the pan; it's amazing. And cleanup is a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend this cookware. Oh, they look great hanging on my pot-rack as well.
