Good product. We use a lot of them every year and never had issues with them.

This Halo seems to be about 1/4 in smaller all around. It has to be jury rigged in order to make it fit snugly.

The Clips

It is a nice fixture with the exception of the clips that are supposed secure it in place. Very difficult to use to the point of almost being worthless. If you purchase this there is a good likelihood, you will have to come up with an alternate way to secure it.

Easy to install and good quality

If you get the housing with the foam pads on the locks remove it or you won’t be able to get them to lock . Other than that the work perfectly

The clips that hold in the light are really difficult to clip in correctly. The instructions literally say punch them out with a screwdriver and run several zip screws into them to get it to hold. Not a good design.

Cover for the junction box was missing in the shipment

Lights do not sit flush.

The canisters were easy to install. I really liked the wire connectors. I was easily able to connect 4 lights together. The only issue is that the lights I attached would not sit flush with the can.

Best remodeling can light.

The Halo remodel can fixture is the top of the line for remodel can housings fits perfectly in a 6 inch round Hole

Rivets attached to box and light housing were barely hanging on. Couldn’t find a trim kit in stock for this can light should have been easy very common part. Had to adapt another trim kit by drilling holes into housing.

Sometimes there are little things you don't see. There were locking tabs missing on both of the lights I purchased. Nevertheless, the units overall are perfect for the job. At some point I am going to need to replace six more can lights in my house.
