I’ve got to return this because the paddle isn’t turning therefore it won’t freeze the ice cream. Not happy with this product!!
Very Nice Ice Cream Maker
This turned out to be a great ice cream maker. Allow the ice cream to set once the motor has stopped and you unplug it. I keep ice in the bucket with towels on top for about an hour and be sure to pull out the drain plug. I'm sure you can serve the ice cream right away too. I have never made ice cream in the house, always on the porch with a towel underneath the machine.

Made some great memories on 4th of July with our new ice cream maker. I made the old fashioned vanilla ice cream from the enclosed recipe booklet and it was a hit. So easy to use. Ice, I box of rock salt... plug it in, layer ice and salt. Repeat the ice and salt x 1. And in 20-30 minutes you'll have the most delicious ice cream. Our children and grandchildren loved watching and helping.... Will be a tradition for sure!!
Really glad I bought this churn.
The churning pan is wider but shorter than I am used to but that was an asset in my mind. The churn worked very well. I felt like it was taking longer than normal and thought I had done something wrong. Then I realized it might take a bit longer than normal because of the width of the container. Turned out the ice cream came out beautiful when the motor finally did cut off. The width makes it easier to scoop the ice cream out of the container also.
