Disappointing
In spite of being made of wool, this rug was very soft. The texture is similar to a towel, with looped channels. In less than a day, it was snagged from being walked on. The diamond design that appeared to be a light beige in the photo was actually bright white, which will probably look grimy in a short time.
Gorgeous
This is a gorgeous rug that feels wonderful underfoot. My son wanted the tassels removed, and since they are knotted on separately, it was very easy. I am so happy about this purchase!

Exactly what I wanted
Everything about this rug is appealing -- the colors, texture, absence of any odor, tassels.

This rug looked so pretty in the photos. But… the weave is sort of like an oversized corduroy, with huge space in between the lines of texture. I tried hard to like it for a few days. But…the other problem is that it has so many areas that pop up, even after following the manufacturer’s directions to unfold and roll. Also, the perimeter edges are not even close to straight. They’re sort of wavy. It’s just not the quality of rug that I expected. For $900+ shou’dnt I love it? Or at least like it? On the one hand I am sad and disappointed. But on the other hand, I felt so relieved when I made my decision to return it.
High Quality Vibrant rug!
This rug is beautiful. It is exactly what I wanted for my office. The main color is deep but bright burnt orange. The pattern provides many different "accent colors" yellow, green, blue ,ivory, but they are subtle. As other reviewers have noted the rug is textured with raised ridges. This makes the orange look a bit less solid. That doesn't show in the online pictures so be aware. I like the texture and really love the rug! Great purchase! Also, we have had non stop rain and the rug was packaged extremely well!

Beautiful and soft rug with great color saturation
I love this rug. It is soft to touch, not crunchy or stiff. It has beautiful deep colors. Soft under foot. It looks amazing in my gathering room. So happy with this rug!
I purchased two of this rugs and I love it. Perfect size and color. Rugs are light weight and very contemporary. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product. Also they came with Ralph Lauren tag.

Love this rug. Looks great in the space. Thick, warm wool with vibrant, happy colors.

Not as pictured at all! Hand- knotted to me implied a smooth surface. This rug has big ridges that cannot be seen in any of the on- line photos, they just looked like color striations. The colors are also much brighter than pictured. It looks cheap. However, I turned it over and the reverse side looks like a woven Kilim in muted colors, and I rather like it. The reverse has a flat surface. Unless you happen to like the reverse, like me, do not buy this rug. I am attaching a photo of the rug in reverse, with a corner folded over to show the right side, and a close up showing the ridges.
