The finish on the Bronze is a bit darker/blacker than pictured. This is a high quality, beautifully made light with an interesting look.

I wish the lamp was more recessed into the lens so that it was not so exposed from the sides. Hi/Low switch Exposed lamp from any angle other than the front.
