Shedding cats

The rug looks nice but it sheds and I've had it since August. It's like having 5 shedding cats. Overstock would not let me return it after the return date as I was trying to see if the shedding would slow down and it never did.

Muted but nice

I bought the beige version and colors are a bit more muted/washed out than I would like. Very thick and comfortable under foot, one of the thickest I have received from this brand across my many purchases. This one did shed a little more than my other Safavieh rugs so just worth calling out to vacuum upon opening.

Quality much lower than my past rugs of this brand

I've had a set of 5 of these Berta navy rugs in different sizes for over 2 years now, and am not satisfied with them for several reasons: number one being, the repeat pattern on the very large dimension rugs is huge and not what I expected when I first ordered a small size rug to see if I would like the colors and pattern in person. I was truly disappointed in how large the pattern size is on the 9x12 and 13x10 rugs I have. If it were not so difficult to return these, I would have. The other major issue is that these rugs have not stopped shedding yet, 2 years on vacuuming weekly. I've had several beautiful wool Safavieh rugs before that shed at first (as expected with wool), but not to this extent, so that speaks to a lower quality production method. Also, the quality of the yarn and color does not measure up to past rugs I've had by this brand either, the shimmer and nap that was on my older Safavieh rugs is missing on these, these look duller over all, and not as tight of a weave or as thick. I like the navy/slate blue and sage green colors but only on the small repeat pattern that is displayed on the 4x6 and smaller rugs. On the large rugs it just looks out of place in my home. Very, very disappointed with this entire purchase, especially as it is still shedding like crazy. I will not be purchasing this brand of rug again, and look forward to the day I can justify the cost of replacing all of these Berta rugs.

I LOVE this rug, unfortunately I took a gamble despite other reviews and ordered the dark blue. There is no blue in this rug, it is gray. We kept it because we love the pattern, would love to purchase the 8’ round but I’m not interested in the gray.

Not what I had hoped for!

The pros- the rug was thick, soft and dense. The negatives- there were stains on the backing as I unrolled it from the package, the binding was already coming off of one of the edges, a bunch of little pebbles (or maybe rough little plastic balls?) came spilling out as I unrolled the rug, I started vacuuming them up but many were still lodged in. Either this was a used item or there are some quality control issues! Also, the coloration of the rug in my entry looked to be black, brown and a dirty yellow, not navy blue and sage as the description said. May have partially been the lighting or the warm tones in my floor but it didn't look as I had expected it.

Not Gold

Not Gold in any way shape or form. Completely different color from pictures and description. AND Overstock says I will have to pay $*** to return! Overstock- why can't you just post an accurate picture and description?

Berta oriental runners

I was somewhat hesitant to purchase another Safaveih runner rug; in the past, the odor of the rolled up rugs has been overwhelming and I had to return. However, these runners (I bought 2 @ 12 ft x 2'3" and 1 @ 10 ft x 2'3") have zero odor. As other reviews have noted: the navy blues of these runners are more a charcoal blue, and the other hues are somewhat neutral (ecru, beige, very pale ocher and olive) but the patterns and colors are stunning. Really beautiful. I love these rugs. They are thick and tightly woven so I think they will wear well.

This rug has a nice thick pile that put out William Morris vibes. It is not a navy color but more of a charcoal and golden-greenish tones, which are absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed in this rug! I've purchased 3 sizes and they all are stunning and make the lace look great! I get a bit of art nouveau vibe from it but it looks amazing in an MCM home and even a traditional decor home. I love this rug!

Show stopper!

Cannot express enough... this rug takes on a different color based on the light. Please look at other purchasers' photos. This room has a huge window and a lot of natural light. The rug makes a big impact. It is a quality dense weave and has beautiful neutral colors that can be paired with a lot of other colors. In my design, I paired it with a charcoal gray leather sofa, a gray bench, blue drapes, and a cream chair. All the wood accents are walnut and gold. The rug pulls everything together with only a few striped throws. For my room, the background color is a deep gray-blue with olive, gold, cream, and a hint of nude/pink (close-up photo included). Don't let the nude color deter you from purchasing this rug. I used this to decorate a man's new efficiency apartment and it is stunning... judge for yourself. The quality is present just look at your lighting conditions before making your final decision.

Obsessed! Needed something to complement a blue Savafeih Dakota Adirondack rug I bought separately. Soft but excellent piling, and colors are beautiful. A teensy but darker but it works great with my wood finish furniture.

Nice, but sheds a lot.

This is a nice-looking rug. It pills A LOT! The colors are bit bland which is a bit what we expected. Wish that it had a bit more pop. It is a bit more yellow and steel blue than anything.
