Rug is a nice quality, pretty thick and pile is soft. For those who are wondering about colors, they are pretty true to the picture. I was wondering about the "red" since that varies alot from maker to maker and site to site. This is actually more of a deep red/claret rather than rust which some reds turn out to be. I was pleased as I did not want rust. The other colors were nice as well. I did a test and ordered the small 2' x 3' to check the colors because I didn't want to get a large rug and have to send it back as that's hard to do and costly. Now that I know what it looks like, I will order the big one. I have other Safavieh rugs, some of which I purchased years ago and they have worn well. They will shed a bit when new but then they stop after a while. All wool rugs usually do that. Follow the instructions and don't use the beater bar on the vacuum.

This rug is beautiful. The blue in it is more teal than navy. So, it didn’t work in my home.

This rug completes the rooms decor!

These rugs amazing. We own at least 10 of Safavieh rugs. Yes, they shed but that's the nature of the rug and doesn't last to long. .The colors of burgundy, navy, gold, green and cream are rich and inviting. This particular rug is in my husband's office. This rug is thick and well made. If it's near a door, make sure you have enough clearance which we don't have and we'll have to trim the doors down. It's worth it to have such a gorgeous rug. They have many sizes and the price is very good. Thanks Overstock!

The colors of this Safavieh rug are perfect on the neutral side, even though it has a lot of pattern. Goes great with my furniture and decor plus my dog loves the warm of it. Don’t be alarmed if it sheds when you vacuum wool rugs do shed, but they are long lasting.

Great quality materials, beautiful colors, durable. Lasted through two puppies and two tween girls! Professionally cleaned multiple times and it freshened back up To peak condition. Highly recommend.

I hate this rug! It looks good, the colors are accurate to the picture, but it sheds terribly. Everyday clumps of fibers that are like hairballs form in large clumps. I vacuum everyday because of this. I don't have pets so I can't blame them! Don't buy this rug!
