Size not accurate on 8x8 rug
Pretty rug-would have looked great but size was VERY off. The Safavieh rug we bought for the living room was also off in size but not like this one (we were able to make it work since it was a larger room). This rug was supposed to be 8x8. It was 7.5 x 10.5. It was for a 10x10 room and too wide for the room. I double checked to be sure I ordered the right size. I did. The packaging the rug came in said 8x8 and the tag attached to the rug also said 8x8. Perhaps quality control issues at Safavieh?
Very nice rug. Is like a braided rug in that it doesn’t have a mesh backing so it’s more flexible than a mesh backed rug. Will work great for us in a bedroom. Soft colors, great for my picky pre-teen. . . Update: not good if you have cats. Day two and they’ve decided to sharpen their claws on it pulling threads from the braided rug. This is going to be thrown away in less than six months most likely.
