Disappointing

Major fail. Poorly manufactured. The reel was hard to turn and the inlet fitting wobbled. Box described it as a pressure washer reel not a garden hose reel. No way you can get 200 ft of garden hose on this reel. No dimensions provided by Home Depot. The Vevor website erroneously states the reel width should be about 25." Actual width is only about 15" wide. The special short hose from the reel inlet to the water spigot is not included.

The product is sturdy, but the assembly directions are very poor, and assembly is difficult. It took two of us more than 3 hours to put it together, and that’s way too much time to have to spend on a hose reel. I had bought three of this product, but returned two of them after my experience with assembling the first one.

Zboží jsem objednal 12.9.2024. dorazilo to. ale jeden z dílů byl špatně vyroben. Vevor mi poslal nový díl z Číny, což trvalo 6 týdnů, ale po příjezdu do mého domu se mi pokusili účtovat 20 eur. Odmítl jsem doručení. Několikrát jsem žádal o zpáteční adresu zboží a vrácení peněz. Stále čekám na odpověď 1.11.2024. Zdá se mi, že vevor rád vezme vaše peníze a něco dodá, ale tak rád plní své povinnosti v péči o zákazníky po prodeji.

12 of the items to put the reel together was not in the box when it arrived. went back and forth with the dealer and got no were. took it back to home depot for a refund.

Much more solid than plastic junk sold for 200. Price is just right. It’s not flawless but really can’t complain about it.

the metal quality is fine, the instructions to put it together is fine, the connectors to the hose and tap are NOT Australian standard fittings and when using 4 brands plastic or metal(Gardena,Pope, Nylex and Holman) the water sprays all over the place, when tightening it till it nearly cracked still drips heavily. i had to buy plumbers teflon tape and covered it,then after connecting the fitting to the tap connector on the reel and again tightening it to the max it worked, it drips a little now

Hose Reel

This hose reel was easy to assemble and seems to be of good quality. However, the handle just isn’t long enough to allow the hose reel to be moved without bending over, which is really uncomfortable.

I had been looking for a better-quality hose reel to replace my current hose reel and this one fits the bill. Not only is it made from steel instead of plastic the quality the jumps out at you the moment you look at it. This is exactly what I was hoping to find; it supports my 100-foot water hose and doesn't take up more space than is necessary and from what I've seen so far it will stand up to years of use so with this price, that was less than most plastic ones I had looked at, I am totally happy with it.

Nice Product!

Arrived in good condition with clear instructions on how to assemble. The screw location to construct the reel was a little challenging but once put together it works nicely. Under pressure it does leak at the reel to hose connection so don't leave water on! Other than that good price, sturdy and easy to use and hopefully it will work for a long time.

Horrible frustration with this hose, it kinks when attaching the hose in center and impossible to wind up.

Light weight and easy to put together. Holds the hose well and winds up good too.

The Assembly instructions were a bit sketchy and no very clear. The machining on a couple of the Phillips screws was very poor - the slots were not cut deep enough and one had no slots at all. I had the find screws as a replacement
