We are very happy with the purchase of this freezer. Looks and works great so far. We had an issue setting the temperature to our specifications initially but that was quickly resolved after we called for help.

Terrible Freezer WARNING!

This freezer has not worked since we purchased it. We have asked for and sought service but NO ONE can service this freezer. They say there are not even any parts they can find if they did know what is wrong. It ran constantly and would not keep a freezing temperature.

Great for our Restaurant

We are ready to purchase our second unit after having this one work great for the past 2 years. The unit is spacious and looks good. The wheels are also much better than our other units so it makes it easy to move around.

Do not buy this unit

The unit's compressor failed after 18 months. Saba does not honor their warranty.

SABA has awful support, buyer beware!

Freezer looks nice and worked great for about 5 months, at which point it completely stopped working. Could barely keep things below 50 degrees. The real nightmare started when I realized that SABA refuses to support anything unless it's physically located inside a commercial establishment. So now I have a practically brand new freezer I paid $3.5k for, and I'm $1k in on service technicians, and we still have no idea whats wrong. And SABA won't do squat. Stay away from, they're horrible.

Great Quality and Works great

This item required basically no installation. We just waited 24hours and then plugged it in as the Manuel stated. We like the space it has, the way it looks, and overall quality of the build. We would purchase this product again and recommend it to our fellow restauranteurs.

Bought one of these a year ago and decided to buy another. First one was great and still working fine. Second one does not work properly and temp is at 50 degrees

Did Not Hold Temp - Cycled on/off Every 2 Minutes

I like the appearance of this freezer. Stainless steel on all four sides inside and out. The inside of the door was polished to a mirror finish. It has a temperature gauge on top so you know if it is working. And it is on casters so it is easy to move for cleaning. When I received the unit I waited 24 hours, per instructions, to let the freon settle. I turned it on and watched as a vacuum pulled the door very tight, compressing the door seal nicely. It took about 3 hours to go from 78 degrees to 0 degrees F. But here is where my disappointment started. The unit would only hold zero degrees for about 46 seconds and then the temperature started climbing. At about the 2 minute mark it reached 4 degrees and the compressor came on and ran for 2 minutes and 24 seconds. The unit cycled on and off approximately every two minutes. I called Saba customer support and they said I didn't have enough food in the freezer to hold temperature. So, I went out and bought 80 pounds of ice and placed 20 lb. bags on each shelf. Unfortunately, that had no affect. At this point customer service said I must have a bad door seal. We inspected the gasket using Facetime and the gasket looked fine. Nevertheless, they sent me a new gasket, which I easily installed. Unfortunately, it had no affect. At this point I asked them to send a service technician to fix the problem. And here is where it got interesting. They pointed me to the warranty page on Lowes website. Under "What is Not Covered by This Warranty" it states "SABA ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR PARTS, LABOR, FACTORY DEFECTS, NOR ANY DAMAGES TO UNITS INSTALLED IN NON-COMMERCIAL FOOD SERVICE OR RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS." I was flabbergasted because residential use should be less demanding than commercial use. Furthermore, I had a dedicated electrical circuit and at least 10 inches of ventilation space on all sides of the unit. Nevertheless, my only recourse was to return the unit to Lowes. As an aside, this freezer is louder than I expected when the compressor is running.

I bought this SABA freezer from Home Depot knowing that there is no warranty, how ever I didn't expect it to brake down within a few months. When the freezer quiets working it gets warm inside of the freezer almost Immediately. You should expect to loose all of your frozen goods during a power outage. It has two motors in it, one is the compressor located in the bottom of the freezer that turns on and off to keep the unit cold, the second motor is located in the top of the freezer, this is frost free unit and it runs continuously. This is not an Energy Star unit so expect your electric bill to go up.

DO NOT BUY FOR RESIDENTIAL USE!

Home Depot should make it clear on the front page for this item that the warranty is not covered by the manufacturer if the freezer is being used outside of a commercial setting.

We received our unit pretty fast and it is working great. I also like the sleek look the stainless steel has. I would recommend it others.

Worth every penny

I've been looking for a refrigerator to place in my garage that has a more commercial look. I came across this unit on this site and couldn't be happier. I have had it for almost 3 months now and it has performed flawlessly and I am about to order another one for my in-laws.

Perfect for extra space in our house!

Love this freezer for our garage. It’s super roomy and good looking! Happy we can store all of our extra meat in here. Fast shipping too, much faster than the delivery dates listed.

Long story short, my brother returned from a hunt recently with some meat that needed to be stored. I was getting a little worried initially because many freezers seem to be out of stock these days. The SABA unit arrived on time and it was a straight forward process from delivery to operation. The shelving is robust and handles a generous amount of weight. We are truly grateful to have this great freezer.
