Bought these rods and the double brackets to support them to hang a couple of bed layers that I wanted to display but also get easy access to in the winter. It appears this will work well. Would have bought finials, but the style I needed wasn't available. Looks ok without. Good quality, fairly easy to install. Warning: I decided to paint the pieces before installation to match my decor. Should have primed first -- the finish was good enough that the paint didn't want to adhere!

Two pieces do not work

This is totally my error… I missed it in the item description and did not read the reviews. It clearly stated the 96 inch pole is two separate poles with a screw in the middle. I am back to Lowe’s to return this. This extremely important detail should be prominently placed in the item description….not the very last sentence. Like I said, my mistake… But disappointing nonetheless.

joint was not included

Joint was no included in the package to join the two pieces together to span the length needed. It was shown in the assembly instructions but was not in the package. I had to purchase one.

Very good wooden rods.

I love the curtain rods that I received. I have ordered in two different lengths, 8 foot as the longest. I do wish that the rods came as a single piece, but I was able to piece it together fine with the included hardware. I highly recommend this product as wooden curtain rods are very difficult to find these days.

This is not 96"

This rod is not one piece. It comes in two pieces and you have to screw it together. Because of this it sags (looks like a banana) and has a weak point in the middle and where the two pieces meet, looks horrible.

Great qulaity at a great price

Great quality at a fraction of the price. I will purchase again. Colors are up to date. This curtain rod doesn't deflect over long spans. It is easy to put together

The rods are nice. The connector screws were not included as stated in the description. Disappointing since I now have to go purchase them. Very pretty and easy to use the (2) 4 foot pieces for a large window. We did cut off 5 inches from each piece, also easy to do. We got the look we wanted with this product. Very happy.

Easy to cut to proper length

Deceptive description. Beware.

Read the fine print!!! IT says "single" 8' curtain rod. It is NOT that. It is two separate 4' rods that have to be attached together. Not at all what I wanted. And they are charging ME shipping to return item. seriously??? (insert angry face emoji)

The rod shows it has grooves, it is smooth.

I should have read the reviews before making this purchase. My mistake. I will never buy from Bed, bath and beyond again. The last three purchases have been horrible quality. The rods are only four feet long and then didn't come with hard wear to attach them. Who wants a curtain rod with a seam in the center of it??? Seriously? I'm going to have to cut one of the rods into two and use the one four ft long piece in the center. And because it didn't come with hard wear I have to go buy that. What a hassle! The brackets are very rough and I'm going to have to sand them. The curtains I bought have numerous defects in the fabric. All very disappointing!

Not really 8 foot

I order an 8 foot rod but what I got was 2 four foot rods that you're supposed to attach yourself with a two-sided screw. That's not an easy thing to do and then the instructions say to hang it with a bracket where the two rods join! This would've been important information to provide customers ahead of time. Quite disappointed.

High Quality Wood Rod

Wood curtain rod with brackets and finials arrived quickly. Very high quality rod that looks great. Easy installation with instructions included. Love it.

Classic style, solid wood. I love the fluting. This style looks so nice and the curtains slide back and forth on it so easily. The finish blends well with the flooring and overall I am very pleased with these rods.

Absolutely gorgeous from end to end!

We were quite pleased with how well made these rods are. They were easy to connect, and the finish matched our finials perfectly. The rings glide with ease over the rods. Highly recommend these beautiful rods!

Sturdy Budget Curtain Rods with Class

I have bought these for my living room and sunroom in various lengths and both the single and double brackets. They are easy to assemble, sturdy (I have a set of velvet curtains and some insulated curtains hanging from one), and have a classic look. I have one complaint. They sell out too often and I have to wait too long to buy more. I'm currently wringing my hands hoping the 8 ft heritage oak rod comes back in stock and I won't be stuck with one odd curtain rod.
