This replaced nearly exact same part that was in my house for decades... Except this part is cheaply made, screw heads couldn't even take one turn on a pre drilled hole before ripping. Made in America no longer equals quality.

This is a very nice latch. However, I should have measured prior to purchasing, as it is too wide for the built-in wooden medicine chest in one of the bathrooms of our 1901 home. That, however, is not the fault of the latch. I would recommend.

Total Garbage

Very disappointing. Tiny flathead screws that break under very little pressure. Now I have a screw shank stuck in my brand new Kraft Maid cabinet door. Overall, completely underwhelmed. No quality. Would not use Amerock again.

The latches don't work properly. They are meant for a flush mount and when you do that there is way way too much space so the door will rattle or just be ajar a fair bit. Too bad. The finish is nice. But the cost for latches that don't really work is unconscionable.

ONce I ordered two of these to replace the two that broke under normal use, I found that the manufacturer warranties them. I have sent the broken latches for replacement but no response. Maybe it's the covid manufacturing slowdown?But the guts of these are zink, not reliable long term. And to make the same thing in brass, add $20.00? Why!

The latch on the door and the catch on the...

The latch on the door and the catch on the style do not align properly. The door stands proud of the style. I had to modify the catch to make the door close flush with the style. Not a quality design.
