Good Unit Easy Install Has Recovery Mode

Auto change over works great, was an easy install, recovery mode temperature slope is kind of noticeable but my apartment is only about 900 sq ft. There's no wifi, so hopefully nothing to reset my settings when the weather turns hot like the Google Nest did. Have only had it a month and its fall, so not much of a test. I had a commercial grade Honeywell in my twice the size condo up north and it made my home unbelievably comfortable. This unit does not have the programming wizard that my commercial unit had, so programming it took a minute. Very happy, would recommend.

Installation was very easy! Instruction were in the box. Temp reading is very accurate and it’s pretty customizable per schedule or time! Energy efficient and compatible with all my devices!

I was not called to schedule an install like your email promised. So, this review is more about the service than the product, because I have not used the product yet!

Home Depot needs to do a better job here . The thermostat was previously installed. All 4 on the shelf had been opened

Advertised Features it doesn't really have.

So there are several features advertised on the Honeywell website that these thermostats don't actually have, or at least they don't tell you how to use them.

Old thermostat fail and have two of this model already, wanted a third matching one. I fairly intuitive to set and program. The other i have are reliable and work great.

BIG IMPROVEMENT replaced a 20 year old Honeywell when our 20 year old Carrier condenser gave up the ghost. Straightforward installation, better accuracy, lower humidity. All good !

I expect this unit will work well. I purchased it with installation. It has been on my dining room table for a couple weeks but not installed yet because I have not been contacted by anyone for installation.

Easy to use, see and program.

I'm an H.V.A.C. tech for about 30 years now. this unit was easy to install, use and program. you can see and feel the quality for a DIY friendly unit.

The old one broke; the new one was easy enough

Installation was extremely easy, instructions were very clear. Setup is model-dependent and slightly less intuitive, but still easy enough to figure out.

purchased this because I thought my old one died. I installed it but it wouldn't work either, turns out the issue was with the door switch in the AC system was not closing properly. So I need to return this. It was very easy installing it.

My thermostat is six months old and it went out. Technician came out, checked everything, and said that this thermostat has been known to fail. He said a small bump will cause it to malfunction. He has seen it before I bought the same to replace it because of the wiring, hope this one will last at least a year.

AC Cycles too often.

Installed 4 days ago and the AC cycle varies from 6 to 10 minutes with downtime of 10 to 50 minutes depending on the outside temperature. AC should run at least 15 minutes. I would like to know what the differential or temperature swing, is for this unit and is it adjustable. Old Thermostat was adustable from .5 to .2 temperature swing.

Don’t buy this

Honeywell used to be quality but this thermostat is garbage and why I woke up to a cold house since it doesn’t work after only 2 months of use.

It is a great product. It accuracy is spot on because I set it temperature inside to about 64 to 68 degrees. The installation was a little tricky, but I've manglage to put it up.

Easy to install. You will need the instruction booklet to set the thermostat up but the instructions are clear and straightforward. The display is large and easy to read. They have been installed about a week now and are working as designed.

Good price for basic non-programmable thermostat. Fairly self explanatory to install. I purchased because it was compatible with my older home built in 1924 that only produces heat and has no central air.
